Any other "hidden" perks?

Hi, I called member services today and asked about the photopass discount, I wouldn't have known to do that had I not read these boards.

Are there any other "perks" that I should be asking about?

We are taking our first trip as DVC owners this Christmas (Animal Kingdom Kidani)

It's not really a hidden perk because it is on the member website, but there is a fantastic LaNouba offer right now for DVC Members. It is 35% off on Cat. 2tickets for dates up to December 19th.

Member perks are always on the DVC Member website. You can also call DVC Member Services and ask about current perks as they change throughout the year.

True, except for the photopass discount code. This "perk" is something new.

It is the same as the pre-order discount that was canceled a couple of months ago. The Photopass CD is offered for $99 instead of $149. It is a great savings if you know that you want it. My understanding is the code is being offered through Member Services because other on-site guests are getting the code in an email after booking but DVC members that book through MS are not getting the mailing.

Do I just call memeber services for the photopass pre-purchase deal? Or is there a code I need? TIA! I didn't know there was a discount for DVC to pre-pay, and I'm quite happy about it. Now i will buy one. Couldn't swallow the $150 !!!

Yes, you need to call member services within 45 days before your reservation and request the PhotoPass pre-purchase code. Then you reserve the CD on the PhotoPass website before you leave for WDW.
