We are planning to fly Song next Oct. and wanted to get some feedback on other people's experiences. Thank you.

Samantha,

I suspect a lot of the problems Song had were growing pains from them being a new airline. We are not flying with them until January, and I am not worried at all, especially since the problems seem to be coming fewer and further between.

It will be fine!!!!

Debbie what problems have you heard about? Have they changed your flight schedule at all?

Nope, they have not changed us at all. I booked about a month ago, and I check in with them every few days.

Right when they started flying out of Boston there were a few bumps, but it really seems to be running pretty smoothly now.

Deep deep breaths, it will all be OK. We're going to Disney World after all. :hyper: :hyper:

I will just keep chanting that "we are going to WDW" and all will be well;)

We just returned from WDW, flying Song from LAX to MCO. No problems to report whatsoever. Departure left on time and arrived about 5 minutes late. The flight attendants were cheery, but not obnoxious about it. They even cracked some jokes that made a few of us LOL.

I was hoping the in-flight entertainment system would have been setup by our trip since it was a cross-country jaunt, but I had to be satisfied with my book. I hear the entertainment systems are a slow rollout for their fleet. The menu choices for food were also decent, although the entrees should have been about $1 cheaper each, IMHO. I sucked it up and bought a turkey on focaccia sandwich for $8. It was a very good sandwich, but more along the lines of a $6-$7 product.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience and would fly them again if the fares are right.

I also flew LAX to MCO only in Sept. Absolutely no problems to report at all.

Although the seats are leather, they are still a little stiff. I suspect with time that will change. There was more leg room which was nice.

Service was fine. I thought the food would be typical airline food, but it was actually pretty good. But yes, slightly overpriced.

With the addition of DirectTV and PPV movies, I believe this will improve your trip.

The best thing though: Going to MCO, we left early and arrived in FLA 45 minutes early......Very nice. Baggage was quick to arrive at baggage claim.

I will definitely fly them again

We flew them in september and it was fine. No problems what so ever.

Flying again on November 5th From BDL.

It's nice to hear that some LAX people had positive experiences with Song. Carlos, I remember you from another thread before I purchased my tickets. I was wavering between Song and AA and finally chose Song because they had the itinerary I wanted. I would expect that the entertainment should be up and running for our trip next August. Can't wait!:goodvibes

Flew Song from NYC to MCO last month. No problems. They tried to get the entire plane to sing "row row your boat"! *LOL*

No pillows, you have to buy them. They do have blankets. The inflight entertainment system is being phased in. Regular TV channels will be free, they will have pay ones too. Also, video games, not sure if there is a charge.

The food was OK. The fruit & cheese plate was a pretty good value for $4. You got grapes, cheese & crackers.

Just a typical airline.

We would love to try Song but we can't seem to get tickets for under $500.00 pp out of Hartford on the days we want to fly. So we'll be flying United w/stops instead.

Just returned today from vacation! Song flights were both fine. Left & arrived on time both ways, service was friendly & courteous. Jokes were fun. Both curb check-in at Boston & self service kiosks in Orlando made it a breeze. We brought snacks so didn't buy food, but it is such a short flight the snacks were all we needed. Baggage got to the terminal in fine time and nothing was lost! Perfectly happy with my flights!
