Any other Easter Bunnies awake???

I fell asleep early watching TV and woke up with a jolt around 2:30 AM remembering that the Easter Bunny still had to make up the kids baskets and get them into their room. Of course now that the Easter Bunny is done she cant sleep LOL.

Anybody still awake?

Im a different sort of easter bunny tonight- I just got home from working the 4-1 shift in toys at Walmart-

Ya know we all agreed that if they wouldve pumped some christmas music on and had everyone in coats we wouldve believed it was christmas...

my poor dept still looks like a tornado hit-

Oh man your department must have been a madhouse. We went to the mall today and it was crazy busy. The weird thing was the Disney Store was not that busy at all. I got stuff for the kids from there.

Im sitting here drinking coffee because its silly for me to go back to sleep now. I need to get up at 6 anyway to get the kids clothes ready for church and myself and dh ready before we get the kidlets up.

Got the basket all ready for DS last night but hid in laundry room because he has developed a habit of getting out of bed and coming down to check on mom-mom and pop-pop (mil/fil). Since i go to bed much before them, could not wait them out!!

now I am finalizing my in-law's taxes that I started yesterday. DIS'ing while the forms print.

I have a feeling mine would too if they could. I do have to get them up around 7 to get ready for church. Daddy does the AV stuff for Kids Church so we have to be there by 9 to get ready.

All 3 baskets have been throughly checked for contents by my children. They woke us up at 6:30 to tell us that the EB had already come.

My 23 month old doesn't know what's going on but he does like eating Kit Kat bars for breakfast.

Now everybody needs a bath and off we go to church.

Abigail woke up, went thru her basket and then went back to bed...havent seen bob yet.
but the cats are certainly having fun batting around easter eggs. the kitten has found a cadbury egg and is rolling it around the living room.

The dog and I were up at 6 am. DH and the kids will sleep in until I drag them out to go to church. The Easter Bunny didn't get around to filling the baskets until this morning b/c she goes to bed long before the kids fall asleep anymore!

The EB at our house was pretty funny! The EB left one Easter Egg in DD2's crib with Reese's peanut butter and chocolate eggs in it. DD2 woke up, found it, opened it and got chocolate everywhere. DH goes to get her out of the crib and thinks she has been eating poop and panics. Pretty funny!! I guess that's what happens when daddy falls asleep before the EB makes his rounds!

Of course, now I have to wash the sheets!

I've been up for about half an hour now. Everyone else in my family is up except for my sister. We'll probably have to wait another few hours before she wakes up.

We are up and have been for awhile. DD #1 came in last night after the Easter bunny had left baskets, but not hidden the eggs they dyed. We told her she had just missed EB, and he had rushed out the door when he heard her get out of bed. We didn't hide the eggs since she saw them still on the table last night, and we told her this AM that since the bunny had to leave so fast-he didn't get a chance to do it. Don't worry, we will take turns hiding and finding them all day. It was the most 'realistic' scenario DH and I could come up with since we were almost 'caught in the act' last night.
