I'm glad you're back in it!

Good luck and baby dust to you!

On a side note, I should edit my post from above and mention that I just had a little teensy bit of pinkish spotting when I went to the restroom. It was after going #2 and wiping...(TMI, I know...sorry) So I'm guessing AF is coming and I'm out till next month!! Good luck to the rest!! :wizard:

Well I had my 7dpo progesterone test today.
But this morning I woke up with (and still have now) a crampy, throbbing pinchy pain 'up there'. I'm really scared. I dont know what it is. It's been going on all day.
It reminds me of when I had my last miscarriage and my cervix was dialating. It feels like the same kinda pain. But my period isn't even due for another week.
Anyone know what this could be??? I'm really freaking out about it.
Today I had some yellow CM which I only had when pregnant. Maybe a good sign?? Maybe bad, since I'm having those pains. :(

DznyLvr...When can you test? You are going to drive yourself crazy! LOL! Just relax. Nothing you can do about it now, so just try not to over think everything. It's hard to look at "symptoms" because everyone is so different. Good luck! :goodvibes I hope your temps have been staying up!

Christal...Sorry to hear that AF is on her way. Bummer. I can totally relate to you enjoying the Clomid, shots, etc. I agree that feeling like you have some control makes a big difference!

djm...Welcome back. TTC after a loss is very intimidating. We're all here to help you through it! :)

Not much new here. Had my 4 week followup with the dietician and she seems pretty confident that I do NOT need meds for the insulin. That diet and exercise should do the trick. Actually, more the exercise than anything else. I have the diet thing down, it's the finding time to exercise that's killing me. It's SO hard! She thinks that losing another 10 pounds should help on the TTC front, so I'm hoping to lose another 10 before I go back to the gyn on Dec 6th. I'm SO anxious for that appt. I just feel like I've been in limbo. I can't take much more waiting without any further testing to see why I'm on cycle 18 and have only had one chemical pregnancy (that I know of) to show for it! Ugh.

Plus, this weekend my side of the family is celebrating Thanksgiving and I'm positive I'll be getting the "When will y'all have another" questions. :sad2: Maybe if just once I just let it all out, everything we've been through, all my my emotions...then maybe they would leave me alone. ;) Because smiling and saying "we're trying" just is not cutting it!

Today is CD17. O should be here any day now. I keep forgetting to use my OPKs. Last month I got a positive on CD17, so I definitely plan on testing later today. I had some EWCM around CD15 or so.

I didn't take my temp this morning because my hubby forgot to put my puppy in her crate so this morning I sprang outta bed to let her out at 6:00am!!!!
But I woke up SWEATING this morning.. Absoultely sweating.. heat coming from my inner soul!! haha
The pain I had stopped so that's good.
I have no signs of pregnancy or non pregnancy. I'm 8DPO today.
Usually by this time I have some signs.. Moodiness, thirsty, wierd dreams... So I'm probably not pregnant.

Good Morning!! (or almost afternoon...LOL...got a late start today.)

DznyLvr2005...I feel for you babe! I'm sure we all do! It's so frustrating in the 2WW!! Just try to find something to immerse yourself in for the next few days...and NOT the internet...that can drive you even MORE crazy...LOL. Good luck, it sounds hopeful for you!!

Well, more spotting for me today (enough that I had to use something), and a little darker red now...so I think AF's here...We tested this morning just for the sake of knowing, and got a BFN.

If it goes as normal, then tomorrow will be day one of cycle #2 on the new fertility treatments. Here we go again!

Question: This Progesterone thing is obviously new to me. My doc said to stop taking it after AF came full force OR after a negative HPT. So I guess I'll wait until tomorrow when AF will be here full on. Or would I stop today? (Tomorrow is 14dpo, and when AF is officially due.) I'm confused...LOL

Hi...
Are you taking progesterone from O to AF??
I only ask because this was a BIG concern of mine when I had the miscarriages. I kept telling him to give me progesterone!! But he wouldn't. And the way the MD explained it to me was that taking progesterone is "controversal" He says that it's the Corpus Lutem that has to be right in order for progesterone to be right.
This is why I'm on clomid. He said that clomid will make me ovulate better and give me a better corpus lutuem which will in turn produce the correct amount of progesterone.
But of course online it says that many MDs perscribe it!! :confused3 I hate all this stuff!!! Why can't we all just get our babies and that will be the end of it!! :goodvibes

I had a progesterone test done @ 5dpo, and tested low, so she prescribed the supplements to begin on that night (5dpo)

I also am on Clomid, and she says that it will raise my progesterone over time as well, but she'll continue to test each cycle after O just to make sure that I'm on track in case pregnancy does occur. This is all so crazy to me because last year when we tried, we were SO in the dark about all of this! We went in for IUI after IUI, obviously never knowing that there were so many ways to increase our chances!

I have to say that I think that my new doc is probably on the more aggressive side when it comes to fertility. But she REALLY seems to know her stuff! So I trust her!

I would advise you to take charge of your fertility though. I always say that you know your body better than anyone else could. So if you think that there's more that your doc could be doing and isn't, maybe consider looking for someone else. But if you trust him and are comfortable with his professional opinion, I respect that too. It's rare to find a doctor you truly like and feel comfortable with!! :thumbsup2

Ayhow, here's hoping that we all get our babies really soon!!

Can I ask? What was your progesterone level? They say anything over 15 is good 7dpo and anything over 10 on a non medicated cycle is good.
It's so wierd... Last month (on a non medicated cycle) my 7DPO progest. test was 19.3! I coulnd't believe it! But when I had my second miscarriage, it was 2 :( My body is so odd! I'll find out tomorrow what my 7DPO progest. test was on Monday medicated cycle.

I was only at 8!!
But this was the first cycle with Clomid, and hopefully it will get better.

hmmm. but that's at 5dpo... at 7dpo over 15 (medicated) is ok. Did she do another check after 7dpo?
I'm already planning out my next clomid cycle.. He wants to start me at CD2 this time instead of 5 (if I'm not pregnant, which I don't think I'm gonna be)

No, she didn't have me tested again. I guess she just figured if I was pregnant, I would need the boost. I was tested last month as well (we weren't trying that month, but she wanted to get an idea of where I was without any medication), and I was at 6.5. So the Clomid is definitely helping. But she just wanted to be sure that she got me above 10. I don't know. I really am poorly educated in how this all comes together. But she is amazing at what she does, and has had SOOOO many success stories to prove it, that I can honestly say that I have handed this process over to her capable hands, and whatever she says goes!! LOL

Well today is Cd 28--14 DPO and the test was a BFN! And my cat died this morning. So all around a pretty crappy day.

OMG...I'm so so sorry...:sad1:

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Rough day is an understatement. I'm so sorry about your kitty. :sad1:
I know how you feel on the other front though...I'm going to get a pint of Ben & Jerry's Double Fudge Brownie on my way home from work...
Hugs to you...:grouphug:

Awww Beth  I am so very very sorry for your loss :sad1: My heart goes out to you.

Tasha, sorry about your fears as well. I really do understand the fears being there until you hear a heartbeat or see an ultrasound. I just hope all goes well for you!

Allison, I can understand about not wanting to deal with it at Thanksgiving. I actaully had a blow up with some friends about troubles and it actually really helped to get it all out. I hope it won't be too rough on you this year.

I wish I could have more to say about the ladies on Clomid and the like, but I have no experience. I only wish you luck!

Oh Beth! I am so sorry about losing your cat. And to get a BFN on top of that! What an emotional day for you.

This is so wierd.. it's 9DPO and I should have sore bbs by now.. But I think I figured out why I might not and why I havent in the past 5 months..
I'm on DOSTINEX (prolactin lowering medicine) which gets rid of the extra prolactin in my body. Ever since I started taking this medicine I don't get the sore symptoms. My doc still wants me to take this dostinex, even though it says on the Rx notes to not take while pregnant. My prolactin was quite high and you're not even supposed to be able to get pregnant with such high prolactin (obviously that wasn't a problem with me though)
I hope it's not too low now. It's only 1. It used to be 40-67.
well anyway I am 99% sure I'm not pregnant... When I was the last 2 times I just knew it immediately. I dont have that feeling now.

Beth  I am so sorry for your loss and your BFN.

Dnzylvr2005 and ChrizJen- I was on Clomid, but they did not monitor progesterone until after I got a BFP, so I am useless for info on that. I am glad you two have each other to bounce things off on, though.

I am having a bad day. DH and I fought last night and we have not had a chance to talk about it, yet. He doesn't usually carry that kind of stuff around very long, but I think he was still angry this morning. Send positive thoughts because it is really bothering me a lot today.

Denae

37.8 7dpo Progesterone!!!!!!!
Woohoo!!!!

That's awesome DznyLvr!! :cool1: :cool1:
keep it up! (literally! LOL)

Denae, I hope you're having a better day today than yesterday...Fights are never fun, but when you go a day or two before making up, it can be downright miserable! :grouphug: to you!

Well, today I am feeling like I've been hit by a truck!! I don't know what's wrong with me! I don't know if it's because of the surgery last month (this is the first cycle since the surgery), but last night my cramps were excruciating!! I had to take one of the Percocet (sp?) that I had left over from my surgery just to TOUCH the pain!! Maybe TMI, but it felt like a horrible pressure on my cervix...like my uterus was going to just fall right out!! :sad1: And I'm having some rather large clots too. This is the most painful AF I think I've ever had. I thought that getting rid of the Endo would make it better! But like I said before, maybe this is just some after-effects of the surgery. I don't know, but fortunately today I'm able to take care of the pain with 800 mg of Ibuprofen. (I wouldn't be able to work on the Percocet...it knocks me out.) But I still just feel like I've been blown over. I'm exhausted like never before...This AF is taking more out of me than any other...

But I'll make it through...LOL
Anyhow, Good luck DznyLvr and everyone else, and I'll be checking in to see what's going on! :thumbsup2
