estrace patches...I believe are estrogen patches. I have estridol ones (or something like that) I never did ask what purpose they served

Kristy...

Do you know why you are taking the doxy now? I swear I can't figure out the rhyme or reason. I am on day 5/Lupron. I had a "moment" today....I was convinced I wasn't injecting the correct amount...I couldn't remember where I wrote it down....I must have sounded crazy when I called the office today. Of course I was injecting the right amount :rotfl:....

I am guessing AF on Friday..(I hope)....I am anxious for the next step.

Kristine I'm on day two of Lupron as well as doxy. I'm also taking Metformin so the three of those combined this morning made me very nauseous. I'm hoping that goes away. I'm not sure what the estradiol patches are for. My estradial goes so high that I don't need the supplements. When you do think AF will show up? I'm guessing mine will show up Monday, day 7 of Lupron.

I have no idea why I'm on the doxy this time when I didn't take it the last time. The only reason the doctor gave me was that it would control bacteria growth down there. DH is also taking it and that really puzzled us considering his boys are frozen. The doctor again explained that we'll continue to go through every day life and have sex and that we could transfer bacteria so he has to take it as well.

LOL I've had a couple of those moments with the meds last year. I even had to question how much skin to pinch when doing the injections :rotfl:

:goodvibes Hoping Carla is well and happy with new baby!

villainlover-Congrats on the twins. Glad everything is going good.

Michelle-you look gorgeous!

As for me AF is here. I am devestated. Called doctor and got appt. for Thursday 6/28. Sperm costs us around 1500.00 a month and of course insuance doesn't cover any of that. Found out my insurance won't cover anything considred fertility treatment and/or medicine. Humana PPO sucks! Sorry for the vent. When I got to work this morning and I checked myself in the mirror, I was shocked. I look like crap. My eyes are swollen and blood shot. I never go out without make-up and I did today. My employees are scared of me today!:rotfl:

:rotfl:I feel better now.....thankfully the nurses have been very nice & easy to work with.

Thank you Kristine, I would have had no idea about that!

Oh and Kristy, you should look around more at maternity. They all seem to be about the same from all I've seen. I was at the 2nd hand store yesterday and there were actually MORE plus size options there to choose from than my size. It seems M-XXL have the best choices though (hardly anything at all in XS, some in S and some in 2XL on up). I hate shopping, and being 5' has real disadvantages to it. But really the options now for all I've seen are soooo much better than you would think. IMO 2nd hand stores are the only way to go for bottoms. Tops are iffy. A lot of them still look bad on me, and I am having better luck with regular clothing stores now since hte "flowing empire waist" look is in! Just something to keep in mind for all you TTC, it is wise to buy clothing that you can wear before, during and after. Maternity clothing is $$$$$$$$ for the amount of time you wear it :(

I am truly sorry!!! I sure wish there was something I could say to ease your pain.

Although I am fairly new to this thread...and haven't posted very much....all of are in my daily thoughts. :grouphug:

I am so sorry. :grouphug: And I had no idea sperm cost that much. Holy Smokes!

Michelle - you reallt do look great - and so happy. I got big fast with #2 and was wearing maternity clothes at 13 weeks, but not so much with #1. I got by with big shirts and stretchy pants for quite a while.

Michelle, wow, you were about where I am now in that picture and I still have no bump at all. I guess it will show up eventually.

About maternity clothes, has anyone checked at Old Navy? I got a pair of maternity jeans there last weekend for like $14.

And to all of the other girls ttc, I think about you guys all of the time.

I am so sorry Tinker for the bad news it really sucks when there are so many sperm donors with children arround. I can't believe that you are so big Michelle congrats.

Michelle you look amazing! You definitely have that pregnant woman glow.

Elaine, my sil and I were actually discussing how it's a good season to be pregnant. She had gone shopping and all the clothes were loose and flowy like maternity stuff.

TinkerChelle, whoa, I had no idea sperm was so expensive! You'd think the stuff was liquid gold. I'm wishing you double-extra babydust for your next cycle.

I bought a test and I'm taking it tomorrow morning. I'll let you all know what happens.

Hey everyone!

DH and I are trying for #2 and think we may have done it this time. I have to wait until Sunday to find out for sure (man, I hate the wait and suspense to find out). But I need to ask you a question.

Did any of you notice anything different when you thought you might be pregnant? I'm asking this b/c I usually get certain "symptoms" to let me know I'm getting it. My breasts always get very tender the week before up until a day or two before I get my period, I break out in pimples and I get the usual cramps. This time, however, I didn't get the usual tenderness. In fact, they have not been tender at all. I still have my pimples (which sometimes go from one cycle to the next), but my cramps are a little more intense than usual.

Sorry if that was a little TMI. But I figured what better place to ask then on here to see if anyone else has experienced anything different that might indicate a possible pregnancy. DH and I (as is DS4) are really hoping that I am.

Thanks!

TinkerChelle-I'm so sorry

Princess Pooh: I'm with Gurgi....TEST ALREADY LADY!!!! I'm going crazy here :rotfl:

Michelle: You look beautiful!!!

Well I'm just waiting to O here.....:rolleyes1

Thanks for the support. I'm just really down. I don't think I can move up my appt. When I scheduled my appt, they asked if anything was wrong and I told them no so the earliest they had for a "regular" annual was early August. I mean, nothing is really "wrong" with me, so I felt bad saying yes. So I'll just stick it out until early August. I've thought about taking a TTC break, but I don't want to "waste" a month. *sigh*

Michelle, you look great! :goodvibes

Chelle, I'm so very sorry. I can't believe how expensive sperm is. Wow! I was really hoping this was the month for y'all.

Rebecca...how many cycles on Clomid did you do before moving to IUI? My cousin got pregnant the first time with IUI (her second pregnancy was a surprise with no help, and it was twins...amazing how things work!). IUI is about as far as I think I'd be willing to go.

Princess Pooh, Good luck! I hope you can start us off with some summer BFP! We are LONG over due!

Pooh...take that test. TAKE IT NOW!!! I'M DYING!!:rotfl:
Amen to that!!!!!!!!

cybrkitn, welcome to the group. I admit I wasn't big on drinking or taking any type of OTC drugs that might be bad for a baby. My only exception was Benadryl and even then I was trying to take it only when needed. I did cut out most of the "bad for you things" during the whole 1.5 years we were TTC so it wasn't a big deal by the time pregnancy happened. Good luck to you!!!

Allison, keep on hanging in there... I know it is so tough. I just hope the doctor will have answers for you. How many months of charting will you have to bring in? I know with my doc though, charting or not, she'll test anywhere between 6-12 months after TTC (your choice). I only ask though because maybe it will do you some good to forget about it all for a month or so until you go in. That actually was my docs orders too :)

Allison: I've been on Clomid for 5 cycles. It always gives me hope to hear that people have been successful on their first IUI. I know where you are at now...feeling so down you don't know what to do. I know you don't want to waste a month but sometimes you just need to take a break. But no matter what you do August will be here before you know it.

Rebecca, I hope you get that BFP from your first IUI!! :) :) :)

Elaine, so far, counting this month, I'll have 5 months of charting. So I suppose I could take off next month as 5 is probably plenty. I just hope, if AF does show, she shows before the wedding we have this month. AF is due right around that time and I'd really like to know if I will be able to enjoy myself at the wedding with a few drinks...I feel like I need them! And I'm not a big drinker!! We also thought about going to six flags while in Dallas for the wedding, but the timing with AF is off because if I'm pregnant, I wouldn't want to go to six flags, but I wouldn't know that early if I'm pregnant because AF is due on the wedding day. Ugh!
