I got a BFP

Sorry to leave you all hanging like that but they shut down the computer lab at school. Anyways, I'm kind of shocked. This cycle was just horrible on paper...no ewcm, my temps never got very high, and lots of other gross TMI stuff you don't want to know about. I'm am sooo happy and slightly terrified . So far only my mom and DH know. I'm waiting until 12 weeks to tell everyone who's not immediate family.

So lots of babydust to all of you because if I have to get fat and nauseous, I want some company!

Gurgi I'm exactly five weeks and a day. My cousins had a few very early miscarriages so I wasn't too eager to test right away. Hmm, you and I got married within a few months of each other, bought houses within a few months of each other...

DznyLvr2005 - At least call the doctor. Hopefully it is nothing but I also say call if you are concerned.

Momsully, go to the Ripley's Believe It or Not website for the Orlando museum, there is a heading for Fertility Statues, click on it and it tells you where to call so that you can see them. You have to go during office hours, 9-5, if I remember correctly. They are currently housed at the Corporate Headquarters, it is near the Belz Outlets.

Thanks for the info. The bummer is I am the chair of this conference and we are going to have about 4000 people there. I am hoping for some free time this weekend but I am going to be in the conference all day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so looks like I won't be touching them after all. I am flying home Wednesday night as we turn around and leave for Hilton Head on Friday. If I am not pregnant by October I will have to stop there and touch them then.

I don't really have any symptoms yet, just AF like cramps that come and go. My bra also felt tight today so I think the girls might be getting bigger.

Nicole, I have a feeling you're right. BFPs always come in waves.

Hi all

I just wanted to update you on my situation. We had the results back from DH's 2nd SA and it was zero again. It was really hard to take in as I was really hoping they'd made a mistake with the 1st one. I'm still waiting for my blood test results as I tried phoning to get them and I was told that the doctor wanted to talk to me about them so that's not a good sign. DH and I are going to the doc's this afternoon to get a referral for him to see a consultant and to get my results. So I guess this is the beginning of a long road of treatments for us.

I have good days and bad days about all this. I cry a lot but just want to talk to a consultant now to get DH checked out to see if there's anything that can be done.

Force me to "rest"? Do you mean "test"?

I almost tested yesterday evening! I guess I'm afraid of jumping the gun and being disappointed. The test kit also says that first thing in the morning is the best time and I've already missed that today.

I'm kind of torn. Part of me is dying to take the test and the other part is saying wait until Sunday. Probably b/c one month I didn't get it until day 28.

I don't know. What do you think? Do you think there will there be enough pregnancy hormones to be detected by the test?
