I know! It's been unbearable keeping it a secret from you guys.

I'm feeling great - the total opposite of poor Becky. I've only had some mild queasiness, no morning sickness and no real nausea. It's amazing how two people can experience pregnancy so differently!

I've had lots of other symptoms though (freq. urination, fatigue, and my personal fav, constipation :), Kory's fav, going from a B to C cup ;) ). Overall I feel very lucky considering it's awful to stand up all day in front of others when you're not feeling well.

The first U/S showed a heartbeat of 133. This time I think she said 154 or something. At that moment the baby was bouncing around and I wasn't listening to her. I did get a video, so we'll watch it again. It was a great sight to see.

How are you doing? Well I hope! When is your next appt?

And thanks PoohPrincess!

Hey Ladies :) Hope everyone is having a great humpday.

congrats vettechick99 :) I'm excited for you!!!

DH and I had our "big" u/s this morning-- we're having a boy! We're so excited but freaking out too. We had three names for girls that we had been juggling but no boys names that we liked... I just have to keep DH from naming the kid some old english epic name....he has already tried Beowulf out on me--- umm.....NO WAY!

Congratulations to everyone -- for the eggs and the babies and the happy goodness!!

CD16 for me today...I'm pretty sure that I did O this month (hello moody! these last few days, and my CM seemed to be a bit egg whiteish...), despite it being the first month off of BCP. Perhaps I'll be like my mom -- doctor told her to go off the pill a few months before she wanted to start trying and she was pregnant the first month!

Umm...nothing else to report, other than we booked our flights for our January trip today. Paid a little more than we'd hoped, but we're flying out of Toronto instead of Buffalo, so it's a little more convenient!

Vettechick99, that's great! Congratulations!

Good luck to all of you who are doing the whole 2ww thing. Isn't it the longest time in the world?

Michelle, testing on vacation outght to be lucky just because you're on vacation

Syrreal - have fun shopping for boy stuff! And what is it with husbands and odd names? Mu husband thinks we should just name this baby One. No complications about picking a name, no trying to remember who's the oldest, etc. I keep telling him he'll find out his child's name after I sign the birth cerificate..... :)

Have a great day folks!

Jen

Congrats vettechick99! That is terific news. We are a lucky thread! I was constipated when PG from the iron in my prenatal vitamins. My midwife said I could eat Total cereal every morning instead of the vitamins, which completely solved the problem. Ask your doctor.

Syrreal - Congrats on your boy. I am sure you will come up with a great name for your little guy.

Jen - One! :rotfl: That's a good one.

msexplorer1977 - the 2WW, hoping the end brings good news.

Pretty soon with all our good luck, there wil be no one left on this thread except me, because I am not even trying. :rotfl2:

Denae

Congrats vettechick that is really terrific. Also Syrreal Congrats on the boy. Here is wishing to all those who are still TTC

Allison - Wonderful heartrates! This bean was 115 at 6w4d and then 182 at 8w6d. I am thinking girl since it's so different than my pg with DS. Not only that, but I have been sick and MOODY with a capital B*I*T*C*H LOL!! I am betting you have a boy in there! Sounds just like my pg with DS - nothing but freq urination, fatigue and the lovely stopped up niceness! My next appt is the 29th. I am SOOOOO nervous for it. I wish I was still naive about pregnancy. Infertility/m/c will rob you of that. I set out to enjoy each day, though. I will be 11w6d. We will finally be able to tell family that weekend as long as all went well..

Syreal - CONGRATS!! Little boys are the cats meow! Not that I know different, but having a son is so cool! And cheap(er) - not as many frilly clothes to splurge on, LOL!! Had to laugh on DH's name suggestion of Beowulf! My DH only likes traditional names. Nothing that could be considered artsy (my personal faves are Julian, Adrian, Jude, etc). DH is all about strong, masculine, COMMON names!

Mel - woo hoo on booking your flights! How fun! And hoping you did O and caught it!!

Jen - too funny on DH's suggestion! Did I already ask - what is your EDD?

Carla - any fert report today? How are you feeling??

Becky - how are you feeling?

Everyone else?? Where are you at in your cycles???

Allison, that's great! It must have been so hard not to share the news. :goodvibes I agree with Denae about the Total cereal. It's amazing for getting everything "going" again. I get the yogurt kind and it tastes really great. Plus, it's got lots of good vitamins in it. Can't get enough vitamins right now!

Syrreal, a boy! Congratulations!!! I have a friend who wanted to name her son Grover. Her DH was totally against it. She eventually got him to consent to Grover as a middle name. Good times. :thumbsup2 Maybe you both could stick 10 names each into a hat and vote on them.

I got my fertilization report. We ended up with 16 eggs. I have no idea where the other one was hiding. Anyway, out of the 16, 9 of them fertilized and are dividing and growing normally. They're "cleaving". Nine of them! Nine little Mini Mes! :Pinkbounc I'm going back to pick them up on Friday (only 2 of them....the rest of them will be frozen for siblings). I have Valium for my transfer. Considering they had to give me enough to knock out 3 people yesterday, I'm not sure 5mg of Valium is going to do much for me. I have Toradol for after the transfer. I've never taken that before. I've gotten shots of it at the hospital, but I've never taken the pills. It's supposed to prevent cramping in the uterus, which seems to be my problem after transfer. Has anyone taken this for pain? I know it causes heartburn and stomach problems and to take it with food, but beyond that, I'm clueless. I'm supposed to take them for a 10 days - by then, if the babies haven't decided to stick around, it's too late to force the issue. ;)

Wow, we are full of good news lately. Awesome report, Carla!

I have some news of my own that I also just posted on my trip report thread. We were able to conceive in July so I'm 10 weeks tomorrow! We cautiously kept it under wraps, but yesterday we had our second ultrasound and the baby looks great. Growing right on schedule with a strong heartbeat!

My due date is April 19 next year which times up nicely with my summer break. I can take the last two months of school off and have two more for free in the summer. You teachers will know how ideal this is!

I will still stay around, lurking and posting like I have been. Good luck to you all. I still say this thread is very lucky!

Congrats Allison! i am thrilled for you!

Wow - does this mean you really are going to have one of those "little souvenirs?" Congrats, so so happy for you :Pinkbounc

Your due date is exactly one week after mine - I am April 12.

Glad to hear everything is going so well. Hope you are feeling okay.

Again, congrats. Wonderful news!

I was so excited to see this post. I am 26 and DH is 31. I was just diagnosed with PCOS last week after 2 miscarriages last fall. I am currently taking Metformin and if we are lucky I caught it in time to get pregnant this month. I look forward to having many chats with you all.
My SIL had PCOS and also took meformin. She has 2 beautiful boys!! I too had trouble conceiving. I have thyroid disease that was preventing me from ovulating. After several rounds of chlomed (spelling?) and the lovely dye in the filopian tubes test, we had an IUI and I got pregnant with my first.
My biggest piece of advice is TRY not to listen to people who have never been through it and have no clue. They think saying things like "When you least expect it..." or "Just don't think about it and it will happen!" will make you feel better. It doesn't because it isn't true. If you have a medical condition that is standing in the way of conceiving, "relaxing" isn't going to help! I agree with a poster earlier that said get the facts and be involved!
Good luck to all who are trying!

Allison - I have been taking the powdered Metamucil every day to help with constipatin. Also, when it gets really bad, I call out the big guns - Uncle Sam Cereal. If that doesn't get you moving, nothing will!

Carla - I will have my fingers and toes crossed for you. I hope you have some good, sticky little eggies!

Michelle - I hope you get good news this month. Can't wait to hear!

Syrreal - congrats on your little boy. How exciting.

If I forgot anyone - I am terribly sorry. There is just so much to catch up on.

I have been having lots of nausea and vomiting this week - it has been bad. But, at the same time, I am grateful, as crazy as that sounds. I am 11 weeks tomorrow - the second trimester is coming fast!
Laurel

VetteChick - congrats!!! I have to admit, I have kind of been suspecting you were pregnant - the bigger ****s tipped me off! J/K - I also post on the Nest (Sara916), and I saw a couple of posts started by you that just made me think maybe.

Jen in NH - I love your idea of letting DH find out the baby's name when he signs the birth certificate - I may have to use that one!

Good luck to everyone else still trying!!! Here's a little extra pixie dust for you :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Hi everyone cycle day 31. I haven't called the office yet for a pregnancy test I think I will wait until Saturday.

&&&& Lisa!

Laurel - my m/s kicked back into gear this week. Hoping coming into the 2nd trimester will cure that!

I heard the baby's heartbeat last night for the first time! What an amazing sound! I have a fetal doppler at home and finally hit the jackpot last night! DH wasn't home, so I called him crying about how happy I was!!

Hi guys!

Fingers crossed Jen and Carla...

Lisa ~ I have no idea how you can wait! good Luck.

Minnesota ~ Where did you get the doppler? I am seriously considering ordering one, mostly because I think it would be really nice. DH thinks I'll drive myself batty with it!
