Well girls, today is my *big O* day according to my ovulation calendar, my OPK's (heck, I took THREE throughout the course of the day) and my right side. I've been really sore all week and Friday and Saturday were the worst. I know it's waaaaaay TMI, but hubby was really on board with giving it the good ol' college try so we BD'd a LOT LOT LOT the last few days (hehe...we followed the calendars advice and did it everyday there was a red heart). It helps that my hubby said he feels like a teenager with his hormones at the moment...hey, good deal.

I'm not going to stress myself out over this. I'm just going to say extra prayers the next two weeks that everything is going to eventually be okay. If not, I think I'll eventually go a little nutty!

Forgot to give an update on me! I was so excited to see Rebecca's ticker!

We had a nice time this weekend in Dallas. We had a lot of fun hanging out with DH's college friends.

Today is CD30/11dpo and I had a little spotting earlier today. NOthing much since then. But I'm sure that means AF is on the way. I tried to temp this weekend, but we were not going to bed until 1am so it just wasn't working out. I'll temp in the morning, at my normal time, but with the spotting I'm sure this month is a bust. I really was starting to get my hopes up based on other things this month, but I guess I was wrong. Again.

cybrktn, you are far more patient than me! I can get blood test results for things like that the same day... I'd be dying to wait until later this week. FIngers crossed though!

Allison From everything I have been told 10 days is the minimum requirement for having a good enough luteal phase. 12 days is preferable though, so maybe you do need a little boost with that. I am so sorry it is taking you so long... I really do know how it feels

Gurgi, I do hope it was implantation bleeding you saw. As for a ticker... not this time I think. I dunno, but I am not sure I want to do that again. I'm starting to fear next Monday and I dont' want to jinx it

Well, the little folicle grew to 22 by 17 so he said we were ready for the IUI. He is going to wait for the blood work to decide if I will do the Trigger shot today or tomorrow.

Is 22 by 17 a good size?

Any odd side effects I should expect from the HCG shot, other than not to POAS because it can be false positive? No worries there though since I HATE, HATE, HATE POAS.

The first day of the IUI was usually worse for me since they always had a hard time finding the cervix. The second day was better. I called my doctor today and she is on vacation this week and am waiting for a call back from her nurse. My Mom had breast cancer pre menapausel and my parental grandmother post menopausel so it is really concerning me.

I have been having some cramping the last couple of days...this morning I have some spotting. I had the IUI 8 days ago I did not expect AF for another week. This whole process is so draining!

Kristine this can be a tedious and draining process. Just try to think positively.

I was so nervous for today's checkup that I couldn't sleep last night. I finally got out of bed at 12:30 and went to my recliner in the bonus room. Thankfully I was able to get 5 hours of sleep but I'm exhausted today.

My checkup went well. The follies are growing slowly. One on the right is 13 x 13. Just waiting now for the E2 levels to come back. The doctor said anything under 1K would be good.

Allison, sorry about AF showing up. My LP was also 11 days so I took vitamin B6 to try and prolong it. Maybe you can ask your doctor about it?

Sorry, Allison about AF. That really stinks. Maybe your charts will be of some help to your doctor in August. For most of the time I was treated, they said I had "unexplained infertility," which is incredibly frustrating because I wanted them to just fix it! If a short LP is your problem, I sure hope they can fix it easily.

Kristy and schmoogirl - Lots of luck on your IUI's. Grow little follicles, grow!

Kristine - Hoping the cramping is a good sign!

Sue - Never thought I'd give a thumbs up to bleeding, but here you go!

Gurgi - Hubba hubba. Glad your DH has gotten with the program!

Lisa - I will be thinking about you, and hope the lump is nothing. Insist on being seen right away and make sure the doctor knows of your family history. My MIL found a lump and her doctor dismissed it for months. It was cancer, and she struggled with it and succumbed after 15 years. She always wondered if she would have had a better outcome if her doctor had tested right away.

Elaine - I am sending lots of positive thoughts and energy to you.

Anyone heard from Carla? Hope all is well.

We had a great weekend! We went to Burlington and stayed overnight. The kids swam for hours and hours.
