Any other DFW area Disney Stores closed?

I went to the DS at North East Mall on 12/31 and found out that they closed on 12/29. Does anyone know if any others closed? There was a sign stating that shoppers could go to Hulen Mall, Parks, or Vista Ridge. The North East Mall store always was busy when I visited. Sorry to see it go.

Ouch! That was a nice location.

The announcements I've seen say they were planning to close about 125 store nationwide (out of around 500, I think), but I haven't seen any specific location information.

It closed? Wow! I was just in that store a few weeks ago and you're right it was packed!

It was me that posted the other thread about our Disney store closing tomorrow. I'm still in mourning. I'm sorry to see yours go too.

I was wondering if any closed around here. I haven't been to the malls since xmas but will report on any I find.

The ones I usually go to are Vista Ridge, Stonebriar and Collin Creek.

Once in awhile I venture to Valley View and North Park if there is a good sale because they tend not to be as busy. Will be interesting to see how many are left.

Our Northpark store is practically non-existent now. It moved and is a very small space by Neiman-Marcus. It is never busy when I go by there, so I would not be surprised to find it gone also.

I think I've only been there once since they moved. I loved that store because it had all the gallery items. I was happy / sad that I missed the closing of the old store. Sad because I might have gotten some great stuff at a bargain price / happy because I really don't need any of it and I wasn't tempted.

I agree the new store is awful, just a box. The outlet stores have more character. I wouldn't be suprised if it is gone either.

It's funny you mention that.
I just got back from the Vista Ridge DS and asked if they had heard anything about the stores closing. The manager said that the Northeast mall had closed. I have to admit after 15 years of living in the metroplex I did not know where the Northeast mall even was.
I was also at Northpark the Saturday before Christmas and it is pretty pathetic. That cannot even be called a DS.
BTW, they were putting a lot of new merchandise out today. I got an adorable Mickey and Minnie denim jacket. Great fit and it appears to be better constructed that most DS clothes. My Christmas present to myself.
