Any other crazy people picking up Harry Potter at midnight?

DD and I will be among the crazed masses at Borders at midnight. If it was school night, no way, but since it's the last day of exams today, I figured what the heck? I bet she'll have half the book read before daybreak.

Yep, we'll be there. I just went down to Borders to get the lowdown. FYI: Our Borders is giving out numbers at 6:00PM which will be the order to pick up the pre-ordered books at midnight. The kid at the check out said to make sure to be there right at 6:00 since there is the possibility that they may not get enough books in to fill all their pre-orders! So, there's a heads up - you may want to check with your store.

We'll be picking up our copy from Walden's tomorrow. I don't think the Walden's we pre-ordered from will be open at midnight seeing it's in a mall.

My DH will be at Barnes & Noble. It would have been so much easier to just have it shipped to us. Oh well, he is the one going...

If we were going to be home next week I would be there with my 10 year old (I'd make my 8 year old stay home in bed though). It would be a cool way to start the summer! However, we have to leave at 3 in the morning on Sunday for vacation. I don't think getting the sleep schedule that screwed up in advance would be a good idea!

We'll be there! Our local Books-A-Million is holding a party. I got a Hogwarts Express ticket when I preordered and prepaid for mine, so We can skip the main line and get our book faster!

DS11 and I will be there. I went to BNN this afternoon to pick up the ticket to buy the books.( I reserved 2 last week) The bookstore is next door to a theatre so we're going to see Bruce Almighty before going to the Harry Potter Party.

With the release of HP and Hulk, I know that area is going to be packed.

Originally, I ordered from Borders. On Tuesday (yes, just this past Tuesday, even though I preorderd on May 7), I received a card from Borders basically saying, "sorry, no book for you. We'll let you know when we have one ready." So I also took action by ordering one thru Amazon. But I REALLY want one tonight, so I called B&N after receiving the Borders rejection postcard, and they said they couldn't guarantee me a copy, but that there'd be a good chance I'd get one.
