Any other build-a-toy options at Downtown Disney?

Hi everyone! I've heard about the Build-a-Dino in DTD, as well as the Build-a-Light-Saber in MK and at Once Upon a Toy in DTD, the Build-a-Car at Ridemakerz and even the Build-a-Potato-Head--but I was wondering if there were any other interactive toy-building stations in Orlando? Something a little more "girly"--my girls would love to build their own princess, pony or plush at Disney. As cool as I think it would be to customize your own RC car, my girls would only be interested if they are dressing Ariel or designing hairstyles for Barbie. :)

Is there a Lego Friends option at Legoland?

They used to do the fill a box with My little pony just as you do the mr potato head. We will be at DTD tonight and I will look to see if they still have it. It was VERY cool.

I'm pretty sure they stopped doing the MLP a few years ago. Not sure why they were great. I have a set-it was easy to get all the outfits and furniture in the box compared to the PH pieces.

Oh! That would have been perfect. My girls would have loved MLP. Hope they still do it! :(

MLP was sold so they no longer had the licensing to do it. It was remade. It is really cute. You can find the toys all over. It is also a big hit with teens (both boys and girls).

They used to have a build your own crown in the big Disney Store. Not sure if they still do.

They also have Build-A-Droid. I'm not sure if/where it's located at DTD but I know it's at Tatooine Traders in Hollywood Studios.

I wish they could build their own Joes, transformers and other stuff at Universal, too.

We went to DTD in October expecting to find the MLP station and they don't have it anymore.

We didn't notice any build-your-own things in LegoLand or at SeaWorld. We weren't specifically looking, but nothing stood out.

So, does DTD have the potato head pieces?
We started a collection for my older son years ago at DL, but they no longer have it.
We are headed to WDW in Sept and would be SO excited to pick up some more pieces!!!!!

They did just over 2 years ago. They even had a small collection over at Pop. If you want some of the larger pieces it's better to pay for it separately (Buzz ride). I don't think they would get rid of the MPH. It's great for both boys and girls. Don't forget to get the hands as you need them to hold the Disney pieces.

A tip for MPH. When you buy the box you are allowed to fill it as much as you want as long as it closes but you do not need to buy MPH. We fit TONS of pieces.

Good to know that about Mr. Potato Head! We have a few heads, and while it would be cool to have some WDW-specific accessories, we don't really need a new head!

I just read somewhere that you can fill a jewelry box with bracelets, necklaces and other 'princess' jewels at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for $16. Does anyone know if this is still ongoing and if so, is it at both locations or just at the DTD one?

In the gift shop at the end of POTC my 13yo a couple years ago loved filling a little treasure chest with a bunch of "stuff". The treasure chest just had to be able to latch closed. While there were some gross and creepy things (eye balls, fingers, spiders, snakes, etc) there were also jewels and jewelry. My DD surprised me and actually chose some of the gross stuff (she was a total girly-girl who hated all the gross stuff at the time). For some reason I thought I remembered something like this at World of Disney but maybe my memory's just playing tricks on me.

I know it's not actually building something but it is putting together your own toy chest of stuff that can then be used for a whole lot of imagination games of their choosing.

Ridemakerz isn't there any more, is it?
