Any other adoptive familes?

We have a beautiful Guatemalan born child as well! She is 2 now and has been home for a 1 1/2 years. In May, we are taking her first trip to Disney! Yay! She's nuts over Mickey so I think she'll love it. We are so blessed!

We're an adoptive family as well. We have a bio DS that just turned 10 and our daughter through adoption came home from China just two months ago. She is 3 1/2 years old. She had her first WDW trip just two weeks after we returned home from China. She loved it!

We're adoptive parents as well. We were at the hospital for his birth and he'll be 5 in April. He'll make his third trip to WDW in May. We are so blessed!!! :)

We adopted dd5 when she was just 2 days old after trying for 5 years to get pregnant. Then, after 9 years of marriage, I found out I was pregnant and we have dd #2 who just turned 1 yesterday! They are the absolute sunshine in our lives! No one ever knows dd5 is adopted b/c she looks so much like my dh, and dd#2 looks just like me and my family. DD5 has been on 3 WDW trips already (or is it 4?) and we are about to take our 2nd DL trip in May. DD#2 will have 2 Disney trips by 15 months! Welcome to our Disney Loving Family! ;)

I have 4 biological sons and a beautiful adopted Russian princess. Elizaveta came home when she was 19 months old and is now almost 7. It is amazing how much love and happiness she has brought into our lives.

We went to Disney right before we began planning and saving for her adoption. (That was 7 years ago). We are now very excited to go back and show Eliza and her 7 year old brother the joy of Disney:cheer2:

We have 3 biological sons and one beautiful princess from Chinaprincess: . We brought her home from China on November 8, 2006 and we all love her like crazy. Our family is now complete.:yay:

She is now 13 months old and we're planning her first trip to Disney for November of this year. I'm already buying custom outfits from Ebay for the trip. I'm having a blast with a little girl.

We have a beautiful 4 year old daughter we adopted domestically at 1 month old. She is African- American. We had 4 sons (10 year old miracle twins from invitro after 2 years of all kinds of infertility treatments, 9 year old oops added blessing! Gee, I thought I was infertal!, and 6 year old sweetheart boy) then decided we were so blessed that we wanted to revisit adoption as we were starting procedures through an agency when with our last effort with our infertility specialist we ended up pregnant with twins. Most people assume we were trying for a girl and I know that God knew my heart, but we really would have 5 sons if a boy had been waiting for a home like our daughter was. She has truely been a blessing to our family. Lori

My daughter came home from China 18 months ago. She got her first annual pass a week later. I can't says she "loved" Disney that first time (but the pictures are priceless:rotfl: )

Now she loves all things Disney. Some of you wrote about how your adoptive children are like you-my daughter even has the same allergies I do!

We tried for 6 years to conceive and the drs said it just wasnt going to happen due to medical issues. We decided a family can be created in many ways so we decided to adopt internationally thru China.
Our daughter (11 months old at the time) was handed into our arms on Mothers Day 2005 and it was the most amazing feeling in the world. We were a family.

Upon arriving home 2 weeks later, I had to go to the dr to check on a fibroid and the technician doing the sonogram said "do you want to hear the heartbeat?" ,I said "of what?"
She said "Of your baby, you are 2 1/2 months pregnant!!!!" :woohoo:
I just cried there on the table, the technician was crying,my mom was outside with my daughter and she came in ,she cried, everyone was crying, lol

It was amazing! So we went from no children to two children in one year!

I truly believe had we not adopted our daughter, our second daughter never would have happened. It was our double good fortune, and I looked back to see when she was conceived and it was the day our referral came in of our first daughter. I guess the celebrating worked :rotfl:

We are taking our girls for their first trip to Disney this November and we cant wait to see the magic thru their eyes.:wizard:
It is something I always dreamed of.

fluffernutter, I'm crying reading your post!
God is SO GOOD, and His timing is amazing and unpredictable :)

p.s. I like your username...
Hmmm, now I'm dreaming about a sandwich!

We are adoptive parents also. DD came into our lives an hour after she was born - there was a terrible snowstorm and we could not get to the hospital in time for her birth. She came home with us when she was 2 days old. After a second domestic adoption fell through at the last minute, we decided to go to Russia. We adopted two boys on the same trip - crazy now but made sense at the time. First DS was 2 years and next was 10 months at adoption. Trying to talk DH into one more (I dream of a China princess.) We'll see...

Our children were adopted from South Korea as infants. They are now 10 and 8 years old, and they are the light of our lives.

2 children, both adopted from China. One from Hunan province, the other from Jiangxi! In September it will be the 2 year olds first trip to Disney!

We are a wantabe adoptive family. In fact we have been through all the classes, home study, and are waiting to have a placement through foster care. We have a bio dd (5) soon to be (6) and a dd an angel in heaven she was with us for 4 months and would be turning 4 this year. Due to problems and age of mom, we decided to pursue adoption, and we are now still waiting. Hopefully we will be able to give daughter a sib. You are all special people.

My dd is from Jiangxi. We adopted her on October 30, 2006. She's from Suichuan County SWI.

My dd is also from Jiangxi --Zhangshu SWI .
I laugh thinking of that long, long plane ride home with her. After that, Im sure our short 2 1/2 hr plane ride to Orlando in Dec. for the 1st time will be a breeze, lol

Hi! We're in the process of adopting a domestic infant. We've sent in the paperwork, attended one of the training sessions, and are awaiting the interview, homestudy, background check, etc. We hope to have an infant to take with us to WDW when we go in April 2008, but we're being realistic that it probably won't happen that soon.

Jill

We're in the process of adopting also. We have a bio DS (9 almost 10) and are currently approved for domestic adoption. We decided a couple of weeks ago to look into adopting from Ukraine.
