Today is my only day off before we leave on Saturday, so I am sitting here with a giant list in front of me, trying to wrap things up today.

If there is an award for overpacking, I am certain we will win at this point! :teeth:

When you do an excursion, do you tip the people when you leave? I have not read anything about this on the boards and was wondering.

Also, how cool is it on deck? I am bringing some light weight sweaters and have a wrap for my formal dress, but if I walk the ship for exercise in the morning, do you think I'll need a sweatshirt?

Any last advice? I can't believe it's almost time to go!!!

And that should have read "freaking out" instead of "rreaking out" - gosh I am a complete mess today!!!

Take a deep breath!(LOL) I'll be on the same crusie and I think I have overpacked too, I just keep thinking what if I need this and that. Its my 3rd disney cruise and I still cant keep from overpacking. Poor DH he always makes it fit somehow. We always tip for excursions but I think it depends on the situation.
see you saturday.

Try not to stress out too much, but I know it's hard not to! ;)

Yes, I would advise packing a sweatshirt if you're going to be walking/jogging on deck early in the morning. Better to have it and not need it than not have it and wish you did! :)

As far as excursion tipping, the only time we tipped was when Disney put us in the hands of "the locals", as in bus rides, or when we took the boat out to Stingray City, then we tipped the drivers/guides as we exited the bus or boat. Usually a couple of dollars, but if they were really good and friendly, more.

I NEVER take sweatshirts on vacation. They take up so much room in the suitcase, and if I need one (which I generally will sometime on the trip) I buy one. That way, I have accumulated a really cool variety of sweatshirts from around the world. It brings back great memories too, "Remember how we went up that mountain and froze??? Remember how we got stuck in that rainstorm and were soaked to the skin? " things like that make for great reasons to buy a sweatshirt!!

Mrsfuzzmo-

That used to be my philosophy until we needed sweatshirts in WDW one time and there were none anywhere! If you're there in May you'll have a hard time finding a sweatshirt.

i'm hoping for good weather, so no sweatshirt here. although i did pack a light weight jacket! as for overpacking, our luggages haven't been zipped yet, and i'm putting things i think i might need, every night. it's amazing how you can find space! i should zip it up, so i won't have "access" anymore!

see you all soon!:wave2:

Just checked our weights (of our suitcases) 43 & 46 lbs. (Mine is the lighter one!) We are safe! We leave at 5:oo am tomorrow so this may be my last pre-cruise post!

Bon Voyage to all and see everyone there!

:wave2: :wave2: Have a wonderful trip!!! Let us future cruisers know how the whole packing thing worked out when you get back.:wave2: :wave2:

Tonight, I will finally finish packing (except for things needed in the morning) and be done with it!

We'll start our journey to the port tomorrow morning around 9am so we can get there very early. I have had two people tell me to get there early as some of the Disney buses have started to drop people off earlier than usual and they were both stuck in long lines by 11am.

Now to get through one last day of work.... :Pinkbounc
