Currently that is the loop we are hoping to get for November of next year. Any negatives to this? I realize it is a perfered loop and a pet loop.
Thanks in advance.

Personally, 700 is our favorite loop and we have stayed in almost all of them. We'll be staying there again in just 3 weeks. 700 is an equal distance from Pioneer Hall and The Meadows, making it a short walk to either. Most of the sites in 700 are larger than the sites in 800. Although it shares a comfort station with 400 across the street, it is a very short distance with a handy walking path located in the middle of the loop. There is a close bus stop (located between 700 and 800), as well. We love being able to hear the boats clearly, the train at MK and all the hub-bub at Pioneer Hall, but realize that it's not for everyone. We do travel with our dogs (as do most people in the 700 loop) and 700 has an excellent dog-walking path, too. If you don't have kids that need to be at the pool every minute, then 700 is an excellent choice.

I agree with everything that Bianca says. The 700 loop is really nice. The possible drawbacks are a longer walk to a comfort station, and there will be a lot of dogs on this loop (which may or may not be a problem for you). Also, if you are relying on bus transportation, you will have a slightly longer walk to a bus stop compared to some of the other loops. The trade off is that you don't need a bus to get to the Settlement area, which is nice! Every loop has pluses and minuses. They are all nice!

The only complaint I have with the 700 loop is that the sites on the east side of the loop (to the right when entering the loop) are very close to the main road. I don't have small children, so that's not my issue - my issue is that the buses run until 2:00am and if you have one of those sites and are a light sleeper, you will hear them very easily. The sites on the west side are absolutely beautiful, however!

I am a light sleeper but the sounds of the busses reminds me that I am in my happy place.

700 is my favorite loop for all the reasons listed above.

My favorite site is 714 because it is soooo deep.

Maybe I will request 714, I have a hybrid camper so we sleep in the tent ends. I will say I can sleep through just about anything, but not my wife.
Thanks for all your help guys. This is going to be a long 11 months or so :-)
