Any one on here know anything about guitars?

My DH is a guitar player and we have 3 acoustics, 15 electrics, 2 mandolins, a dobro, a banjo, 2 lap steels and a double neck pedal steel in the house.

Sounds like somebody has G.A.S. (Guitar Aquisition Syndrome for those not in the know, haha)

A good beginner, and not too expensive guitar is a Seagull. I have one and I love it

I will second the Seagull. I was given one by my FIL when I started playing a few years ago. Good guitar. Currently playing on one of his Gibson 12 strings, though.

My main amp is a Marshall MG100DFX; with built in chorus, delay and flange effects. I use a Zoom GFX-5 with it. Bit old now, but serving me really well.
