Any one jumping onboard with Verizon next month with the iphone?

i definitly want to get the iphone -

my question is - i want it mostly for some apps - not even sure which BUT not for music or movies ...will want it to check e-mails and fb

Do u think the 16gb will be good for me? rather save the 100 bucks!

I plan on getting the 16gb as well. I have the 32gb iPod Touch which is my dedicated music/movie player. Like you my phone will have mostly apps ..I think the 16gb will have plenty of space.

For the Touches that we have we got screen protectors (thin film that covers the screen, we got a 5 pack at Best Buy for pretty cheap) and silicone cases. DBF's came with a wall/phone charger that he uses all the time, DD14 charges hers with her computer only and that works fine for her. Also earbuds, the ones that came with the Touch weren't that great so we got better ones, altho I'm not sure about the whole Blue Tooth thing with iPhones, you should ask about that.

The video is about 45 minutes worth of recordings of my daughter doing different things. I do load Pixar movies from our DVD collection sometimes.

DH is using my old 1st gen iPod. Like literally the first ipod ever I have the first iPod color which is a bit better

I'm curious to see how everyone likes their new iphones once they get them! We can't upgrade until December, but we just got the HTC incredibles last week (our original droids were horrible so verizon gave us new phones).

We (dh, mil, sil, and myself) are on a family plan. We are loving the savings. On average, each family cut their cell phone bills by 1/3 and we upgraded our phones. I've got the Droid X and I LOVE it! MY SIL is a hardcore mac addict and is getting the iphone as soon as she can--the droid just wasn't for her.

I am kind of in the same boat. I've been waiting forever for the Iphone to come to Verizon and now I'm thinking about switching over to T-mobile. I can get 4 phones all with the data plan for less than the 4 phones with only one on the data plan. Everyone in my family wants smartphones and there's no way in heck I'm paying an extra $120 per month for Verizon.
