I am thinking about trading my van in for one. Just wondering if anyone had any opinions!

From what Ive heard, out of all the boxes its the best one.

I really wanted to like this car. I really did. I've liked the look of them ever since they came on the market. (Disclaimer - I like odd looking cars. I drive a Honda Element right now. And I love the Nissan Juke, which many people find hideous!) Anyway, we took one for a test drive last month. I'm not too picky about the "ride" of a car but...it just wasn't for us. Just not very comfortable. Took it on a "back" road, and we felt every bump in the road. They do get top marks for safety though, and that combined with the price makes it a good car for young drivers. (Although MY 18 and 21 year olds have said "no thanks" to the Soul.) I'd suggest taking it on a nice long test drive, on several different surfaces, before making a decision.

My adult daughter has one and loves it.

I think they are kind of cute. Each time I see one, I must admit that I check out the driver to make sure a large rodent isn't in the driver's seat! :goodvibes

a co-worker of mine rented one for 3 days from Chicago to St. Louis. She was very excited and rented a Soul specifically becasue she wanted to buy one. She said she was very disappointed, it was a gas guzzler, noisy, uncomfortable ride and awful blind spots. She noticed how it felt like it struggled going against the wind...like really struggled. She has decided against it, but was bummed becasue she really likes the look of it and the price.

I know that my daughter is getting 30 plus MPG.

We rented one in San Francisco and drove it up the California Coast, to Napa Valley and through the mountains. We thought it handled great and was really fun to drive. I was ready to buy one by the time we turned it in.
