Any one gotten Gaylord Palms for July?

If so - did you use Priceline? Hotwire? what was your rate? Any tips, or just lucky. I would love to change my Pop Century to Gaylord Palms if I could get it as during our first 4 days of upcomming vacation in July we will not have park tickets and would love to spend a relaxing few days at a beautiful deluxe resort which we could afford. Have never done it before and am reading up on how to bid on Priceline and Hotwire. Any tips? Thanks

There isn't really anything you can do to improve your chances of getting one hotel over another via PL/HW---it's strictly luck of the draw.
