Any one for an add on?

I just bought 160 add on points at AKV last week. I got $8.00 off per point and the $ 500.00 disney card promotion. Today when I called my guide to find out about the new incentive promotion for new contracts I was disappointed to find out that you had to buy 225 points to qualify. PIXI DUST all of a sudden rained down as my guide said wait a minute there is also a new add on promotion. If you buy 100 - 159 points you get the money off and 100 developer points as well and if you buy 160 or more you get the money off and 160 developer points. Hoooray! I just scored 160 dev points $8.00 off and $500.00 disney reward dollars what a great 40 bday present. I have to have the contract re written but no biggie there. Thanks to these boards I called and got a great surprise. Thought I would share the info!

Unfortunately I cancelled my Disney Visa a month ago.

Does anyone know if I sign up for Disney Visa now will I get the $500 reward $$ for add on or do you have to have been a card member since before September.

I remember reading some post about you had to have your visa before sep ...or maybe if this new add on promotion will last I can get the card in time.

What do you think??

It's tempting, been thinking of adding on 135 points at AKV for a couple of months.

My only problem is that I have already booked a two week reservation for next July at SSR using a mix of this years and borrowed points. We want to go again in December 2008, by which time the developer points will have expired. I know that I could cancel my current reservation and try and re-book at 7 months using the developer points, the borrowed points and some of this years points, but as a relatively new member I am concerned that something will go wrong and I will end up losing points.

The points were what $105 minus $8? And you got $500 Disney reward dollars on your Disney Visa and 160 points?

I decided the other day to NOT extend OKW but to buy a few more VAK or SSR points. I may have to give the guide a call this week!

The points were 104.00 per point with 8 dollars off. I did three seperate add ons two for 50 points and one for 60 points. I got the 160 point match of dev points and the disney reward dollars of 500.00. Yes, the disney cards needed to be open before Sept. 1. I think this is the best add on deal I have ever received. It was far too tempting for me. Good Luck

Sounds like you may have to do 160 point minimum.... Don't need that many more points....

Wow, that's another great thing......you can do say two 50 point contracts and one 75 (I was thinking about adding 175) and still qualify. Very cool. The thing is AKV, I am sure it's awesome but I really wanted to get points at BWV. This almost seems like too good a deal to pass up though.

Anyone know when this might be good until?

Just talked to my guide today to add on 110 points at AKV. No problem with the $8.00 off, or the 100 extra points but he said I needed a code from Visa to get the $500 Disney reward dollars. Since I do my bill paying online, I usually discard inserts in my bills, so I don't know if I received a code for the disney rewards incenitive. Is this really specific to only designated Disney Visa holders, or to any Disney Visa holders?
