Hi I have just booked a table at the Hard Rock Cafe for the 13th for our evening meal , my DS who is 12 is really into music so thought he would love a good look around . The last time I went was a good 13 years ago and I wondered if any one had eaten there recently and what they thought .

We haven't been since Feb 2006, but my DS (now 16) was 12 then and absolutely loved it (he was, and still is, heavily into music). Our server noticed a band t-shirt that DS was wearing and they had a good chat about the band, it was DS's favourite place to eat and when we return to Orlando in 10 days The Hard Rock Cafe is the one place that is on his 'must do' list! Your DS will love it there I am sure. Have fun!

Thanks for the advice DS has read your thoughts and he is very excited I think we need to make sure his camera is fully chagred for this evening .

We loved the one at Citywalk, then again I love the Tupelo Tenders as I love anything in buffalo sauce.

We waited a while for a table then realised we could have got one quicker by showing our Royal Pacific Resort roomkey

We visit Hard Rock 2 or 3 times each year.
This year I was wearing a Hard Rock T-shirt that I got from the original cafe location when it was in Universal studios. (It only get an outing when I go to Florida!)
On of the servers came over, when he saw it and said he worked at the original cafe. This is unusual, since the staff seem to be different each year

it is always good for a visit. not been for a while but think we will go next week. Leaving monday.
Nascar is always good for a visit as well, especially since it has been re vamped.

We always make it a point to go to HR. This is one of our favorite places to go to. The cocktails there are most excellent. :thumbsup2 The food has always been good when we've gone. We to love the music. I even have an All Access card. Cool program they have to get you priority seating, and lets you build up points towards food and merchandise. We try to hit them whenever we get a chance. Highly recommended.

We ate there September just gone and have to say, it was one of our favourite meals of the entire trip! The service is great, the food is delicious and looking around at all the memorabilia is brilliant!! I hadn't eaten there in 8 years but it was just as good as I remembered!!!

I'm not sure if it's seasonal or only performed on certain days but when 'Thriller' came on, they turned it up and all the servers came out and did the dance at the back of the bar. There was such a great atmosphere!

I'm an All Access member so we tend to eat at Hard Rock Cafes quite a bit. If you're not already a member, I'd recommend joining! I tend to spend quite a bit in the shop on pins so it works out for me but I would imagine using it for the restaurant benefits alone would be worth it if you're likely to eat there (or any other HRC worldwide) again.

Have a great trip!

how did you book, I also want to book here for the 23rd dec I think my girls 16 and 12 will love it. Is there an online way or a number to phone to book . thanks

Remember to show your AA card (ARC Europe) for a discount on your dining and some merchadise in the shop

We ate here in October 2008 and it was fantastic, I had the pulled pork which was superb, fab sauce, came with coleslaw barbeque beans and fries the others had chicken and burgers etc, there were 8 of us . Didnt have desert as the mains were huge. Make sure you leave time to explore the place as it is out of this world, we went upstairs to the toilets then just wandered around each different room/ are looking at all the phots, and stuff, it was amazing, then we went out to the balcony and the view was fantastic , all the lights etc it was so cool.

When we go back to florida we are absolutely going back there!

My big tip for this restuarant is ask if you and your son can have a guided tour of the restaurant. If you are lucky and someone is avaliable, after your meal you will be taken around and all the memorablilia will be explained, you'll be taken where the customers don't usually go, and to top of off, if you ask nicely, you can go into the John Lennon room. Here you will find all sorts of personal items, including the love seat where he would write songs for Yoko. If you are very lucky, you can sit in it so have your camera ready!! It's great in that room as anyone who's anyone has scribbled on the wall, and I think your son will LOVE it!

It's free, they ask you to email them a pic of you sitting in the JL seat and just to say who your tour guide was.

Thanks everyone I knew I would get great advice form my fellow Disers , we will defiently be asking if we can have a tour DS would be so impressed with that .
