Anyone do a FREE or almost FREE Disney vacation?

I have read some posts and now I am psyched! I know I can do this! And if I can do this You can do this too!!!!!!

This is what I need:
Gas $200
Hotel 6 nights
Park tickets 5 days or 6 days
Food $350
Souviners $200

I did a Fairfield timeshare tour in Nashville,TN and we got:
$70 cash
2 movie tickets
3day/2night hotel room good on Fairfield Inn
$25 outback steak house gift card

Then we test drove a suzuki(sp) and got a $25 shell gas card!

Does anyone know of any time share offers that I could participate in or any thing along these lines.

I have read some posts and people are getting $150 cash and free park tickets but I don't know how to set up the appointment so I can get these things.
Where can I get free disney dollars? I vagely remember some sight where you do surveys or surf the net for points and then redeme the points for disney dollars or park tickets or something disney, anyone know what I am talking about?

Back in 2003, we spent at most $400 for our trip (June 5-9, ASMo). We shared our room with 2 other adults, so our cost wound up being about $100 for the room for 4 nights. We were marching in the Star Wars Weekends parades and as compensation, each of us received 2 1-day park hoppers for each day we marched...so with the exception of the day we arrived (Thursday, we went to DTD), we had tickets for the length of our stay. We really budgeted our food and spent only $30 a day (total, for 2 adults). We spent only $10 on souvies (we're really not big on souvies...we bought a license plate holder and a Mickey antenna topper). The rest went towards gas for the trip.

Sunshine Rewards is a website where you do paid clicks, paid offers, etc...and you can earn Disney Dollars that way. But you can't cash out until yuo have at least $20.

If you live in or around Florida, orlandovacation[dot]com is giving away a 7-day, six-night stay at a vacation home and $500 towards disney ticket purchases :thumbsup2

My Dsis does free Disney trips all the time. She just comes with us, and lets us pay for everything! :rotfl2:

Good Luck!

I did the cypress pointe resort timeshare tour and we recieved 150.00 in disney dollars because we already had tickets But we were staying at the resort when we did the tour.

Good Luck!

Thank goodness I've finally found you, Brier Rose. You are my long lost DS! :teeth:
(Okay, maybe not, but you have a very lucky DS!)

I am hoping for mostly free for our trip as well between the credit card rewards, survey money, gift cards and disney dollars. If you go to the reward board it will give you more information on all the reward sites where you click and do sign ups for disney dollars!

Ok we go "almost" free every time - but we do get a lot of perks because my husband travels for work. So this is how we do it:

FREE flights for 4 with his frequent flyer miles
FREE park hopper (MYW) tickets for 4 by cashing in his Marriott Rewards, American Express or Hilton Honors Points
FREE Disney Resort rooms by waiting for a room discount code & then using Disney Rewards VISA points
FREE food & dining in Disney with either the Free DDP (when offered) or by using the rest of the Disney Rewards VISA points.

Some years he has a business conference IN a Disney resort -so then his comany pays for the room (and his flight) - we've stayed free at Coronado Springs & Swan this way in the past. His company was also able to get us discounted park tickets & free Pleasure Island entrance & drink coupons. I am so lucky!!!!

Even if you don't travel alot it pays to sign up for airline & hotel rewards accounts - they are free, and even if it takes 10 years to get 1 free ticket or park pass, that's worth it to me! I know friends that pay $6000-$7000 for their Disney trips - INSANE!!! I can do it the above way for $100! I realize not everyone has the perks of the FF miles or hotel rewards points but I just can't see spending that much for a trip!

Sign up for Mypoints. Since our trip this past January I've racked up $80 in gas cards plus $50 in Walmart gift cards (which I will use for photo processing when we get back). Admittedly, I'm helped along by the fact that I order all our office supplies and I get alot of points from Office Depot, but there are other ways to earn points. Every little bit helps. I also got a $50 gas card from one of our credit cards, and have another $50 Shell card coming from a test drive. We'll have more then enough for gas and snacks.

Max out credit card rewards. I've gotten $200 towards our upcoming trip from the Chase cash back card that gives 5% on gas/grocery/drug purchases.
I also have around $100 in Disney reward dollars from our Disney visa.

Sign up with all the market research places in your area. They pay much better then online surveys (usually $75-$125 for 2 hours).

This is a bit more controversial, but I've opened bank and credit card accts for rewards. Bank of America just offered me $50 to sign up for one of their savings accounts. Their savings rate is paltry, but I only have to park $300 there so the $50 more then makes up for it. My mtg. co. offered me $100 to sign up for their checking acct. They offered me alot of perks, so I'm going to try them out and see if it's worth the hassle of changing banks.

Become active in deals forums like fishingfordeals.com or mycoupons.com. I find out about alot of test drives and other great deals this way.

ETA: As for timeshare deals, we rented a condo through Skyauction for $209 for the week. We got invited to a time share pitch that paid $124, so our net cost for the week was only $85! Incidentally, their first offer was just reduced price attraction tickets that weren't that great a deal. We turned them down and got called back later in the week for the $124 deal. As is obvious from this post I'll do almost anything for free money, but I'd be hesitant to do another timeshare pitch. It was NOT fun, and we got let out early because I was so firm in the reasons why we would never buy.

I can't help with ideas for a TOTALLY free vacation but.....

My freebies for my upcoming trip are:

1) 2 free airline tickets to MCO from MN, through FF miles program- this is worth a small fortune for me!

2) I'm hoping to take a Boardwalk DVC tour and hope they at least offer some free lunch vouchers (if anyone has information on this please share your details). I am sincerely interested in an informational tour but not serious about buying into DVC.

Good luck on your mission for a "free trip"!! :thumbsup2

Don't forget with Mypoints you can get RFC gift cards. We have $100 in RFC GC's for our Sept./Oct. trip. :thumbsup2

You may get lucky, but I seriously doubt you'll get more than a pin or MAYBE a couple of fastpass vouchers for touring DVC. They very rarely give out much--they don't have to! It can be difficult just to get in for a tour.

They're selling Saratoga Springs now, so that's where they main sales office is. They might be able to get someone to show you a room at the Boardwalk, but that's hit-or-miss as well. Boardwalk is only available by resale now.
