Any Offsite Hotel Suggestions?

We are staying at the Beach Club Villas in December, but need a hotel for our last 2 nights in the area.

Details:
- 4 adults, 1 two year old
- must NOT be a pet-friendly hotel (had allergy issues at Comfort Inn LBV!)
- cost is a factor, but I'd like somewhere clean & nice

We would be staying at said hotel Friday night after doing WDW all day. Saturday, we are heading on a day trip to Tampa to visit a relative. Back to the Orlando area Saturday evening, flying out late Sunday morning.

We were planning on just moving to a WDW value, but they are sold out (even at rack rate) for that weekend - as are the moderates! :earseek: I am leaning towards risking priceline and trying to get the hotel in the airport. I just hate playing that game and not knowing for sure.

Any suggestions would be very helpful!
TIA,
Kristi

Comfort Suites Maingate has gotten great reviews on Tripadvisor & would seem at good fit for your party of 5.

Did you check the hotels here through Dreams Unlimited? There is a place on the home page (http://www.wdwinfo.com) where you can enter your dates and they will show you the rates. I would trust any of the featured hotels and then you can double-check if they are "pet friendly".

If you really want the Hyatt inside the airport just a reminder that they have a fairly hefty overnight parking fee (if you stay there for both nights)

If you go through Priceline the Hyatt is in the 3* MCO area...but it hasn't shown up much lately. Actually all of the 3* places in the MCO area are quite nice and have great shuttle service 24/7 so it is not a problem (and I think the Hyatt is the only one that charges for parking) You will get a much nicer hotel via Priceline in the mco area for less $$ than you will in the WDW vicinity.

If you really want the Hyatt in the airport you might want to book through Hotwire to be sure you get the Hyatt (on Hotwire it is rated as a 3.5 star hotel in the MCO area and it is the only 3.5 star in that area that does NOT have an airport shuttle icon on the amenities list)...although we have never been disappointed with any of the 3* Priceline MCO properties.

I got the Embassy Suites by teh airport for my friends for $108/night. It includes an evening managers reception and all you care to eat hot cooked to order breakfast in the morning.

You get a two room suite with either a king or two doubles in teh bedroom and a queen sleeper in teh LR.
