Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

I never got an invite for our October 4-9 trip staying at POFQ but my friend got on MDE today and saw that we were able to order. Even being less than 30 days out it let us customize our bands and said they would be sent to us. The one thing it DIDN'T let us do was book Fast Passes. I played around with it for several minutes, making sure our reservation was linked and still couldn't do it. So I called Disney and was told because I booked the package through Run Disney ( because we're doing the Tower of Terror 10 miler) that we had to wait until we arrived and for our tickets before we could book Fast pass +. Apparently if you have a group package you can't link it. I hope they have some times left for the attractions we want on our days in those specific parks!
 
Can you link MNSSHP tickets to the MB?

Also, my MNSSHP tickets are not showing up in my tickets or reservations. Should I be concerned?

When I spoke to the CM on the phone, she told me not to link up my MNSSHP tickets. She said that you have to have the extra ticket, so you get the bracelet. She was pretty adamant that I not link that up.

Has anyone with an October visit been able to do a BOG lunch FP+? I wonder if we are still a bit too far out. Also, if we are able to get a lunch timeslot done, is that considered one of our three, or separate because it's dining.

I do have to say that I strongly dislike not being able to pick FP times for multiple parks, like for nighttime events like Fantasmic. We have hoppers & intend on using them. But with the fp+ as i understand it works, feels restrictive to one park per day. We'll go with the flow & see what happens.

They need to do that stop you in the app not through a phone call. They are a real mess on this whole MDE MB thing so far.

Either way, I will still have my good old tickets that they sent in the mail! She also told me that we will still get the KTTW cards as well as the bands. Always good to have a back up!
 
I was able to get one of my tickets to link by scanning the bar code using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Tech support told me to do that, but it didn't recognize my travelocity will call number. Tix services said it's bc the tix don't actually get exchanged from travelocity to Disney until a few days before they are valid (travelocity tix have specific dates). Another CM said they might be old, yet still valid tix, and the system isn't recognizing old tix (ie Travelocity bought bulk tix awhile ago and that's what they sold us). I've been told so many different things that I don't know what to believe.

Ohhhh, let me know, we were just added as a test resort and I was trying to do the exact same thing (BOG lunch)....but the only thing that I can do so far is get FP's for attractions, arrrrgh!

Oops! I went ahead and linked them before I saw this post. I had not gotten an email confirmation for my MNSSHP tickets and was getting a little antsy about them not showing up anywhere. It is so unlike Disney not to send a confirmation email, or not have the tickets show up in my reservations. I do have another base ticket so I can get into the park early that day. Hopefully there will be no glitches. I'm going to call and ask to have a confirmation email sent for my MNSSHP tickets just so I print it and have something tangible when I check in at Pop. I had planned to pick them up at check-in. Now I'm wishing that I had gotten them mailed to us. All this makes me a little nervous!
 
Last night when I logged in to the my disney experience a window about magic bands and fast pass+ showed up. Thinking I was gonna get the "look for more info in the future" I was surprised to find that I had access to FP+ and that I should "hurry and customize my bands now as they are shipping at any moment"

Today I can no longer customize them as they are being created

We are staying at the Caribbean beach resort October 12-19

A few hours ago I was sent the welcome to the test email
 
Oops! I went ahead and linked them before I saw this post. I had not gotten an email confirmation for my MNSSHP tickets and was getting a little antsy about them not showing up anywhere. It is so unlike Disney not to send a confirmation email, or not have the tickets show up in my reservations. I do have another base ticket so I can get into the park early that day. You will be fine with them linked you also will have no hard ticket. If one thing here is true no cm knows everything and more then half the time they are wrong.

I called to give my flight information and the CM told me about how you can use your MB to board the bus, but I wanted to make sure its normal that I haven't received my ME booklet because usually I'd have it by now.

Edit - just realized I'll still need a packet in order to get my luggage tags. I added my flight info about 3 weeks ago but still nothing.... I wonder if I should call again. I'm going 22nd Oct?

We are going 23 oct and have not gotten anything yet.
 
I sure hope that we do get Magical Express passes as we are in Canada and we have to pick up our MB at our resort.
