Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

I read through the first 12 pages of this and it seems my resort will not be included in this. Can anyone confirm that BWV will in fact not be a part of the test run in October?:confused3

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House Villas, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort and Villas, Disney's Polynesian Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside will be joining the existing test resorts which are Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort.
To take part in the test, guests will need to be arriving at their resort between September 3 and October 31 2013. As with the previous tests, the full range of MyMagic+ features will be available, including 'touch to pay,' 'touch to enter,' FastPass+ and MagicBands.

I am staying at AoA one night before my cruise with no park tickets and then returning to WL three nights with park tickets after the cruise. I was able to book fast passes for my three nights and customize my magic bands even though when I am at the parks I will be staying at the WL. Is this okay or will it magically disappear?
 
Had to wait for DS to get home from school and pick his color. Now I guess I still have ~2 weeks to wait for them to be shipped.

I'm having SO MUCH trouble deciding which FP to pick for what time and what rides. I hope there will still be ability to customize times or change attractions while we are there and it won't all be "taken" by the day of.

I second the poster who said a drag-and-drop system would be fantastic for scheduling FP+.
 
Thanks for the information and link. This is disappointing but seems to match what people are saying here. We are considering making a no-show reservation at POP.

I have to say we're disappointed that Kidani is still excluded in AKL testing for October.
 

I am staying at AoA one night before my cruise with no park tickets and then returning to WL three nights with park tickets after the cruise. Perhaps others with a ghost reservation or FP+ split stay could pipe in about how this worked. Great to avoid problems before arriving.
 
Okay so IF we were able to do MB/FP+ where would I see the options in the app? (I've poked around pretty extensively and nothing so far) or on the computer version of the site only?

We have booked SSR via dvc PTs through David's rentals (dining plan through them too) and I just linked my tickets to MDE mobile today. Purchased through tickets at work. PHWP&M. Based on some reports I got excited about possibly testing FP+ but now not feeling as optimistic that we'll get the chance. :(

We are considering booking one night at Pop before our BWI stay. In theory that should allow us to order MB and schedule FP+ for our entire stay. We just wouldn't check in or stay at Pop although we would pay for the night.

I am trying to find out if anyone has tried this yet. I am assuming that I would need to book the Pop night before our stay and not on the same check in day. I don't know what the system would do if we checked in at two resorts on the same day.
 
We will be at Pop 10/26-11/3. The option to customize magic bands popped up this afternoon, but still no fast pass access. I'm getting the "The selected date must be within at least one party member's FastPass+ selection window." message.

I hope they become available soon-I'm impatient to lock down my selections!
 
We are staying at BCV Oct 2nd-7th and I was able to book fastpass+ today!!!
I am very excited because we like to get to the parks later but don't want to miss out on fastpasses, now I can book them and sleep in!:cool1:
 
We have a room only split stay (tickets through UT) - AoA (7th-10th) and POR (10th- 17th). Yesterday I was able to do FP+ for the whole stay. Today I was able to confirm my address and customize the bands for the POR portion only. The AoA part of our stay does not show up at all in the Magic Band section.

It was a bit weird since when I went to confirm our address it was completely wrong - DH's name was right but our address was somewhere in Texas and the phone # was wrong as well :confused3
 
Ok so we are staying at BLT Oct. 5-Oct. 12 I have done and redone online check in and still have nothing for magic bands or fastpass+. I have also linked our tickets to the account. Am I missing something???
 
We are staying a Port Orleans Riverside from October 29th through November 5th. I have everything linked through MDE but haven't been able to customize Magic Bands or do Fast Pass yet. How did you know when you could do it?

I don't think online check-in has anything to do with it since we did not do that.

Having exactly same issue (split stay at two testing resorts, UCT tix, MBs for second stay only) which I posted about both here and in its own thread (no one else responded with similar stories). My husband has been on the phone several times with IT and gotten a total runaround with blatantly inaccurate info. If you receive updated info or your second MBs are added, would you message me? I would do the same, if you wish. I think we will wait a few days before calling again.

Try doing online check in at your 60 day mark.

Did you book through Travelocity? I had a TX address listed as well and I booked through them.

Sure! We are not super concerned about not having it for AoA. It would have been nice to have the band for the whole stay but no biggie ;)

Funny how so many of us are excited about the bands but when I contacted our extended family to see if they got the bands on their account they said they would opt-out of them :confused3 They like the cards and do not want to wear the bands.

I don't need a second set of MBs as long as the set we do have works for both FPs and tix during the first part of our stay! If I could just get any clarification on that, I would be golden. Just hate the misinformation my husband received today because it proves how lacking their internal communication is. Will let you know if I find out anything more!

Me too for BLT 10/15-10/18. The Contemporary is part of the test and I am guessing BLT is NOT...bummer!!!
