Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

Staying at YC Oct 19-21. Was able to book FP+, however, no MB selections... not even gray. Still exciting!

We're only doing 2 days of Epcot this time, so it makes the choices pretty simple. Only need to do Soarin' once, but definitely have Test Track on both days. Figured I'd get a FP for Malestorm while we are DAWS.

Have they been testing FP+ without magic bands?

Worried that some people have that option (even if it's just gray) and we don't.

Hopefully that will pop up for us by tomorrow!

Woo hoo!! Just made my fastpass+ reservations :) I've been checking several times a day for days and I just got super excited when it worked this time!!

We are staying at Pop Oct 2nd-Oct 9th. :cool1:

Woohoo, logged in tonight and could make FP+. Staying AKV Jambo House Oct 20-25 (DVC member). No MB yet though.

I also had personalize magic bands pop up today. The only color option showing is gray. Did you have other color options besides gray?

I get grey as the only color option also. Check-in to AKV Jambo House on 10/3 and have until 9/2 to customize.

I just spoke with someone in IT about only having the gray option for MB customization. She said they are still in the process of loading all the reservation information into the system so all of the color choices are not yet available. She said ideally, we would not be able to see any options until all info is loaded but there is no way to hide it once the process has begun. She told me to give it some time and it would eventually be there. We are definitely part of the test which has been extended into October.

Thanks for the update.

Is anyone getting Fantastmic!, MSEP, or Wishes? Nothing came up on our dates (10/19-10/26).

I just did our Fast Pass+ selections for our trip Oct 13-Oct19, staying at Pop.

Earlier today, I realized I hadn't received an email confirming my final payment was applied so I called and while on the phone the CM said all of Pop would be testing through October 31, but that we wouldn't receive information about FP+ or the bands until 20 days before our trip. Then low and behold while on the phone with her I was able to see the FP+ options. She was baffled, but said not to expect any word on the bands until 20 days out and that we will receive a postal letter plus an email.

The system is being funky (what else is new), but I was able to get 3 per day for our five park days.

SO EXCITED!

We got FP+ choice finally!

Only grey bands...hoping that changes soon! We are staying at the Poly.

We did 3 FP+ reservations per day but no bonus MK FP.

very happy with the system and choices.

Thanks for sharing this info. We are staying at AKL, but my parents recently decided to take my nephew the same week, and are staying at Pop. They haven't linked tickets yet, so I couldn't share our reservations with them, and I was very nervous about whether Pop would be included. I'm glad to hear that it is!

Checking in to POR 10/1-10/10. Was able to do fast pass+ this afternoon but had the same problem as other people with being offered only gray MB. MDE also said I had until august 31 to customize MB. After talking to IT ( being on hold for an hour) I was told that some of the profiles have the wrong code in them but they are working on it. CM was awesome and told me he would personally be getting back to me in 48 hours to ensure my profile was corrected. Definitely worth it to call and stay on hold!

Staying at CBR 10/19 - 10/27 and was able to book FP+ for entire stay but no MB options. I didn't get any options for Wishes but did for Illuminations?? Still excited to be able to choose FP options.

I swear, WL gets no love. I've been hearing that they are nowhere on the horizon for Magic Bands. :confused3

Anyone else staying there in October? We'll be there 10/19-10/26.

We will be there about that time as well- bummed no ability to do MB.....

Hi all,

Just was able to pick my FP+. As far as MB go I only had the gray option as well. Thanks to whoever called on this. :-)

We are at BC 10/20-10/25.

Has anyone who has access to MBs NOT linked a CC to you reservation when doing online check in?

I don't normally link a card for charging privileges and am wondering if this could hurt our chances of getting MBs at BLT in early October.

My two cents after some fiddling:

The initial process of picking the 3 attractions and then getting sets of times seems unwieldy. What I ended up doing was taking whatever the "best match" was and then adjusting them individually afterwards. There should be a way to swap the times around more easily. Several times I'd move one to a late or early hour just so I could put another in its slot and then move the first one back to where the other one was. It's too much clicking. This could be accomplished with a drag and drop grid.

I got late-afternoon FP+ for headliners in every park, so I'm good with the selections. Those spots are sure to be popular once the whole thing's in full swing. I figure - rope drop, do morning attractions standby, eat lunch, maybe park hop, do afternoons with FP+, eat dinner, see night shows if applicable. This is pretty close to what I already do anyway.

I'd like a way to schedule meal times into the itinerary. Not like reservations, but just blocking out an hour to eat so I know not to put FP+ there without thinking too much about it. Sort of the way stage shows, live entertainment, etc can be added into the itinerary for reference.

The slightly OCD tech geek in me thinks the whole system is pretty nifty. The cynical pessimist in me thinks it's going to be sketchy in practice, especially once the full public rollout gets going.
