Hi!!

DH and I'd like to go down and see the Christmas lights and stuff - maybe a MVMCP...candelight processional. We were thinking of the Sunday after Thanksgiving to that Wednesday. We want to stay at a Value resort and get 3 or 4 day passes (non hopper this trip). Should we do the free dining deal, or is it better to do a room only for a better discount?

Thanks!!!:thumbsup2

If you're set on staying at a value, the free dining would be a better discount. The biggest discount on a value is normally 15%. So, about $15 per night on a $100 room (less/more depending on your value resort). Can you eat for $15 total per day? Probably not. So, I'd say, if you're staying at a value (and probably even a moderate), free dining is better. I could be wrong, but I'm sure the major savings of a room only discount only makes a difference if you plan on staying in a higher priced room or if you get a discount through someone else like AAA or something similar. Just figure out what your room discount/ night would be. If you both can eat for less than that per day, it's a good deal. If not, go for the free dining.

yah if you stay value free dining is a better deal. Even with a moderate free dining is probably a better deal depending on the discount.

Alright, I just went and looked (b\c I am obsessed like that) and here was what it comes down too - FREE dining, saves the most money.

Breakdown:
All are Checking in Sunday checking out Wed. and 4 day base tickets

AS Music w/free dining (2 adults) - $869.66

20% discount room only - $236 for room, add tickets = $ 755.82, now add QSDP $ 965.76

So Free Dining saves you almost $100.
AND - there is no Room Only discount right now for your time frame, so these prices came from the Sept room discount pricing, which could be off a few $$$$
