We leave on Friday, Nov. 1 at 1am and should be in Fl. that night. I cannot wait! We will be at the Country Inn and Suites for the first night then checking into Beach Club Villas for a week. It will be me, DS and DH. I'll bet there will be a lot of us from NJ that week. To all of you traveling, have a safe journey.

We did that drive back in August.
Be prepared for a long drive, and many many delays in Virginia. It was horrible in Fredricksburg/Richmond.

There was construction near South of the Border, and an accident which tied up the traffic in N. Carolina.

We drive through the night, and there was a lot of traffic even at 4 am.

This is our 10th time to drive and so far we've been lucky. We don't go there in the summer so maybe that's why. DS attends the University of Maryland in College Park and boy do I know about traffic in that area! That is why we leave so early, to avoid DC and Virginia traffic.

Want someone to chip in gas money??
I am just thinking about going. I was going to call today and get a room price, and ticket costs. I was wondering how cheaply I could do this by myself.

I'll be there next month :(

Have fun!! :) Are you going to take the ferry? Does that even save time off the trip to go that way??

You can get some pretty good deals on and offsite. Don't try to fly Spirit. They up the prices over teachers convention. You can get better rates out of Philly. I am so excited about going. It's been a year and I really miss it.
