Any news on The People Mover TTA?

I know that the People Mover is under refurbishment, but I was just wondering if anyone knew if it is currently still closed or has reopened.

Scheduled to open tomorrow. They were test running empty cars on Friday night (8/1)

I just read another thread very similar to this one. One poster mentioned that they are unsure of the reopening date and that it may be delayed.

If anyone is there now, or tomorrow (Monday) take a look and give us an update please.

I know the Astro Orbiter has been delayed but I have not heard that the the People Mover has been delayed. We arrive on Friday.... hope it is up and running.

We greatly missed that attraction on our recent trip, although I knew beforehand it would be closed. Looking forward to a ride or two in November!

Last I heard it was still august 4th for the people mover. Like a previous poster said they have been running the empty cars.

Hi. Do you know what they did with the refurb or was it just basic cleaning and maintenance? Thanks.

I was told that they were repainting/repairing all of the Astro Orbitor ride vehicles and the planets. They are doing the repainting at the TTA loading station, that is why it is also closed. They had white tarps up covering the loading station so that the public could not see the repainting taking place.

They were running empty TTA cars on our last MK night, July 30th.

They were testing it when we were there last night (8/4) but MDE is still showing closed today.

Interesting colors.... HAPPY IT IS OPEN AGAIN. We will be arriving MK this Friday in the afternoon on our FIRST VACATION DAY. I can't wait to ride it.
