Any news on Eurostar strike?

As far as I remember they planned to strike today and next Friday, the 19th which is when we're due to come back.

Can't find anything on their website for today.

Does anyone know if the trains left London today? I hope they did and there's no hassle for the people travelling.

I've just called them up to ask and the lady said it's the "train managers" strike and will NOT affect Eurostar services. Hope she's right

I checked the BBC Kent website for travel news and the only train news they had was that services are running at different times due to the tunnel fire. There was nothing about delays or cancellations due to a strike. I'm a bit interested myself!

Eurostar said all along if the managers in the UK strike they will bring in the managers from France & Belgium to cover.

I haven't heard anything since they said they may strike. I wasn't aware they had released a strike date which they have to by law in the UK
