Any New Years Trip Reports?

Hi everyone. I'm looking to see if there are any New Years Trip Reports available for me to read. The search function doesn't seem to be working for me, so I'm hoping someone will read this and come to my rescue!

We have been at the world a couple times at New Years. Vertical Horizon was playing one year at Epcot. We went and watched fireworks at Universals parking garage a couple of times. The park is usually very full they even close down to anymore people unless you were a resort quest. They give out hat and horns in the evening.

We were there this past New Year's, but I didn't do a report. Just not enough time or energy to do a report. We did not do much on New Year's Eve itself. It rained so bad, we were in our room by 9:00. Buckets of rain, I've never seen it rain so hard. We were at the Dolphin. They had a big party that looked like fun. Everyone dressed up. We were at Epcot until we gave up. It was so busy. Hard to get food.

We were there a week. From New Year's day to 8th. Crowds died down by the weekend. Weather very cool, even cold at times. IOA wasn't too busy, did it all by 5.

Christmas decorations were being taken down starting the 4th or so. Christmas music was still playing everywhere. Frankly, I missed the regular park music. It seemed odd to me to hear Deck the Walls outside of Spaceship Earth instead of the great music that usually plays.
