We are a family of 2 adults and a 4 year old girl and a 1 year old boy. We have annual passes, but typically just do the parks. We have done a dessert party in the past and loved it. We are thinking of doing something extra this next trip, but not sure if anything new that would be fun for the kids?

we took a pontoon boat out on the lagoon at the resorts once. it was very slow and calm and just us. we do mini golf but not for the one year old. swimming is really what the little ones love at the resorts of course. some people rent the surrey bikes at the boardwalk or some resorts. or you can try a character breakfast outside the parks. or play in the sand at the poly and swing on the hammocks. kids that age also love playgrounds of course so the resorts have lots of those as well as you already know i'm sure. disney springs lego store.

I’m thinking Mickeys Backyard BBQ would be better for your group. You can then do s’mores at the fire pit with chip and dale. Since the 1 year old won’t totally know what’s going on it’s more about the 4 year old, so maybe a hay ride too at ft wilderness? Also your 4 year old might really like toms sawyers island too. Have fun!

I'd second this - we did Mickey's Bbq on our last trip and had a blast! Our DS5 really enjoyed dancing with the characters and the show was fun. Oh, and I didn't find it publicized well but your alcoholic beverages are included!

Thanks everyone! We did the luau before and it was a total bummer. Definitely have the HDR on the list. We are staying at beach club this next time and I am not familiar with that area at all. Anything over there worth doing?

Kids love the pool there, but it’ll probably take both adults to watch the 4-year old—you can’t see the slide entrance and exit from any one spot :(

The entertainment on the Boardwalk at night is fun, and then a stop for ice cream. My daughter got picked to help the juggler one night and it was hysterical.

We also did a pontoon fishing excursion from there that was fun, but not sure you’d be able to really enjoy it with a one year old along to watch. But if your 4 year old wants to catch a big fish, they can hook you up (no pun intended)!

I’d love to try the Bon Voyage breakfast over there—my DD17 loves Rapunzel. We’ve gotta do it next trip.
