DD (4 1/2 yr) first trip to WDW and she is excited to visit Playhouse Disney Live show. Anything else that we cannot miss @ MGM?

She'll probably also enjoy The Voyage of the Little Mermaid show. It is located across from Playhouse Disney. My DD6 also enjoyed playing at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground, but it may have been b/c she'd seen the movie before we went on our trip.

She might also like the Beauty & the Beast stage show, located over by Tower of Terror.

If she's a Belle fan, the Beauty and the Beast musical is wonderful. It's a mini broadway version and my DD6 loves it. We saw it 4 times on our last visit!

well im not sure how old she is but she might like the great movie ride it's pretty cool for ages 6 and above

She'll probably enjoy Muppet Vision 3D, Honey I Shrunk The Kids Playground, Voyage Of The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast Show and possibly a few other things.

At the end of the Animation tour, there's a great meet and greet area (AIR CONDITIONED). The Incredibles (and Frozone) are there. I think we got about 15 autographs or more in 30 minutes. It was DS (5)'s favorite place.

ds liked the backlot tour, the stars and motor cars show, and indiana jones...

Fantasmic, Little Mermaid and Indiana Jones. My 3 year old loved seeing the ball roll....
I really loved Fantasmic - so beautiful.
Don't forget the cool parade!

I didn't try my dgd with FANTASMIC. She was 4 and at the age where dark, fire, and explosives really got to her. I felt it might be a little intense for a 4 yr old. But if the child has no problems in that area, go for it! It is amazing! :scared1:

My DD6 here is telling me to type Muppets and Star Tours, her personal top two when she was there at 4 1/2. :)

Beauty and the Beast is probably the best show at WDW. I've seen it on Broadway too. Loved it both places. The performers at WDW are every bit as talented as those in the Big Apple. The show at the Studios is quite a bit shorter, but still a joy to behold. It's not to be missed in my opinion.

Enjoy.

I just asked my DD and these were the things she said - so I asked her why on them

Backlot Tour - she got to see costumes (Princess Mia's was on there last time we went)
Playhouse Disney-Live on Stage!
Beauty and the Beast
Fantasmic!
The Great Movie Ride -
Star Tours
Tower of Terror (depends on her daredevil factory)
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Lights, Motors, Action! Stunt Show (she LOVES this one!! - herbie is in it!)
Muppets Show

We like the shows in general, but thought that Beauty and the Beast wasn't great. They packed us in like sardines(in off season!!!). The show was just okay.

My dd 6 loved the beauty and the beast show and the voyage of the little mermaid. I cried when we took her to the beauty and the beast show because belle is my favorite princess and my dd just stared and stared at her eyes gleaming
