Hi everyone,
We are plannning a mid January disney trip with 2 toddlers and are thinking of staying at a value resort. I was wondering if you could get a microwave for your room for heating up their bottles/snacks or if there was one available in the food court or lobby that we can use. I did see that you can get a mini fridge which will be helpful as well. Please let me know if you have any information on this.

There are as spiceycat mentioned nukers in teh food court area. You may want to consider a fridge rental for the room if you are flying if you are driving then a nice electric cooler works great. We always bring ours on our drives to Disney.

Is it ok to heat up their stuff there? If so that would work out great. I do not mind walking down to do that.

We are flying so I have already decided that we will be getting a mini fridge for their milk. Thanks for the help.

No problem at all it is a big help you can also keep some cereal in the room for breakfast in the AM before heading to the parks that way. My DW always brings her small kettle to that way she can make tea in teh room and also boil water for oatmeal as a breakfast meal when we do our weekends at the All Stars.

I thought of doing that as well since I am a coffee fanatic and like my Starbucks ground the best. My husband likes a tea at night as well.
We've also used it for those ramen noodles for the toddlers. Thanks again. I was just needing another method to heat up their things.

yes you can heat up personally items.

athough it might be simplier to rent DVC points and stay at OKW in a studio. there is a mircowave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker in the room.

No problem at all I just thought that this way late at night if needed you didn't have to trapse to the foodcourt to heat things up mind you it way be quicker than boiling water and heating things up LOL.
