Any MI scrappers?

I am so jealous of all you east coasters who are so close together! Are there any of you in MI who would be interested in getting together to scrap?

I am in the southwest part of the state. I am also new to this corner of the boards. Have not done as much scrapping as I would like to but after our trip the first part of Jan I found the boards and have a new energy.

I am from Michigan. Port Huron, which is north of Detroit and right at the base of Lake Huron, at the mouth of the St. Clair River.

Have you been over to the cricuit messageboards? There is a group of us over there and the thread is called PH Swarm Survivors. Are you familiar with cricut swarms? We are looking forward to a swarm in the spring, but no date is announced yet. Also last year we had a swarm in Port Huron in August. You may want to check out the thread.

I am a new cricut owner, got my expression last October. I enjoy doing cards and papercrafting. I work full time plus weekends and try to find time to craft when I can.

Hi fellow michiganians!
Well we did not get as much snow as was forecasted and this is fine with me.!

Not much time for scrapping or card making today, I can try for tomorrow. St. Patrick's Day is coming as well as DH has a Bday and need to get moving on a fantastic card for him.

I will let you know that I am waiting to hear from other cricut swarm members from Port Huron as we think we are having a swarm in the spring, only this time it may be on the canadian side of the river. Will let you know the date as soon as I hear it.

Well we did not get as much snow as was forecasted and this is fine with me.!

We (Southwest Michigan) seem to be getting hit with it later than we were originally told. I just drove home (10:00 pm) and it is really blowing out there. The weather channel changed our snow amounts to 7 inches during the night and tomorrow. Before we were suppose to get that by this evening and then it was going to clear up.

I think my girls are hoping it gets pushed out even more and they can have a snow day Monday! Not going to happen, but we can dream!

Hi!! I'm from Westland!!! There is a crop weekend at the Novi Sheraton that my sister helps coordinate. We have one in March (March 21-23 this time around) and another one in October, it's mainly CM but of course other products are more than welcome!! There's usually 100+ scrappers there. There are still spots open - PM me if yo'd like some more info.

Never been to the one in GR but would love to. None of my friends scrap so I have no one to go with and no fun by myself.

If anyone else in West MI is near Holland/Zeeland, I'd love to meet somewhere to scrap. Not sure what is open anymore and has a cropping area.
