I have been a customer for years......I don't sell it just use it. The reason I started was because I was looking for cleaning products to use at home that were safe for the kids and environment. I don't use their vitamins, have tried them, but not a fan. However I do like there cleaning/laundry products....oh and the lotion. NOW there are so many GREEN products on the market I am thinking of not using Melaleuca anymore. You have to purchase so much per month and some months I really don't need anything but still have to buy my min.

What GREEN products do you recommend that are truly GREEN? Thanks.....

We use Seventh Generation, Full Circle (store brand organics), or just make our own. Melaleuca is like Amway--MLM that is just this legal side of scamming.

Baking soda, vinegar, lemons and castille soap. My primary cleaners.

I just started using straight up white vinegar last week. I love it- it cleans so much better than all those chemicals I was using! Dh on the other hand does not enjoy the smell. It wears off eventually, but he's out of the room for 5 or 10 mins after I clean, otherwise he's gagging. Any tips on masking the vinegar odor? (You know, the dying-Easter-eggs smell.)

You can add essential oils. It doesn't totally mask the smell, but it helps.

I used to use Melaleuca, but stopped after I lost my job a couple years ago. I had enough product that after 2 years I haven't had to buy many cleaners in replacement. lol I have been making my own laundry detergent for about a year now (still have some Mela laundry detergent but use my own mostly) and prefer it over the Mela detergent I was using. The one product I haven't been able to find a good green replacement for is the dishwasher detergent, that stuff worked great.
