Can someone tell me the malls near MCO airport ? IS the price comparebale to malls elsewhere in US ? Or it's hyped because of the tourist destination ?nedd to do some last minute shopping (Shoes and Cloths) and won't have enough time to shop at home. So I was thinking about dropping by for half an hour to 1 hour and do the quick shopping as I have some time on the day I arrive in Orlando.

Florida Mall is HUGE and a few miles from the airport. Depending on which route you plan on taking to WDW it may or may not be out of your way.

Although many tourists visit it, the prices are the same as with any other mall. The website is http://www.simon.com/mall/default.aspx?ID=139

You'd take the north exit and get on the BeeLine west, get off exit 4 onto 17 92 (OBT/Orange Blossom Trail) North. Go about a mile it will be on the right, if you pass "Rooms To Go" you've missed teh entrance, which is not well marked.

The problem with this mall is that it's SO big that it will be hard to get in and out in an hour unless you know specifically what you want and where you are going for it.

I would prefer the Walmart Super Center. Is close to the FL Mall, but I would do my shopping there, if there is not much time to buy a lot. Is on Sand Lake Rd. About 7 or 8 miles from OIA. STAY OUT OF MILLENNIA! To pricey!

I have to disagree. I generally don't care for Wal-Mart's clothing quality, and I would NOT buy a pair of shoes there, especially to wear at WDW. Not every store in Millenia is pricey. There are some upscale stores there, but there are also normal things like Gap, Ann Taylor, Bloomingdale's, Express, etc.

Florida Mall is just a few miles from the airport and offers great shopping to suit all budgets.
It is easy to get to from the Airport.

There is the Florida Mall, and it is huge. I agree with Ducklite though, you will not be able to do it in one hour.

I'm going to change my mind a bit on what I said earlier, and I think you'll agree. If you choose ONE anchor, say Penney's or Macy's or Nordstroms that carries clothes and shoes (and I listed them in order from least to most expensive) you should be able to make it in and out in an hour if you park near the store you will be shopping in.

I would go a little farther (particularly if you're on the way to WDW) and hit the Belz Malls. I usually hop onto Sand Lake Rd and follow it to I-drive or cut right on (I think) Universal Blvd to go over. Lots of selection and good prices there.

I've purchased shoes for my 11yo the last two times we've been there. They weren't dirt cheap, but the prices were reasonable and the selection very good.

Sorry, don't agree , we have never liked Belz - I accept you may be able to find bargains there but the Florida Mall is just so much better and not necessarily expensive either.
