any luck with getting a res if someone cancels?

i didn't get a few reservations i wanted for November and they told me to keep calling back b/c people do cancel. So far nothing...just wondering if it's even worth it and if anyone has had any luck with getting them when at first they were all booked up. thanks!

Definitley keep calling-alot. I had to take a late dinner at Ohana. I called and called hoping something earlier would open and sure enough we were able to get an earlier time. Also for Thanksgiving day we wanted LTT, nothing at all. Finally after weeks of calling I was able to get something. Dont give up.

We have gotten res. for 14 people for the Fantasmic package as close as 2 weeks to arrival. Everything was booked 6 months out...and finally...got what we wanted. Everytime I don't get a time that I want...I make a backup res. and then keep checking. Heck, one time...when the resort printed out all my res. for my vacation it took 4 pages...with all the cancellation and changes.

But I got what I wanted!!!

Wanted to take the kids to Cinderella's for breakfast...tried booking for SIX months; no luck. While we are at WDW, called Disney Dining, and they had a table for 4 the next day!! Don't give up!!

Absolutely it is possible! I have been calling daily for well over a month and was FINALLY able to snag a cancellation for Le Cellier yesterday morning. Good luck, and keep calling!

When we were there 2 weeks ago, we decided we wanted to eat at Teppan Edo, I called from the hotel and they had no openings. We were going to Epoct anyway so when we got back there, I went in and asked if they had any openings, they had several. We walked in and was sat down immediately. I know this does not happen often but if you are in the area, check in and see if they have any cancellations. It make be your lucky day!
