I got a couple of pins pretty easily. I did notice that a few went as soon as they were posted, though!

Hi Dana!
I did great! Got all of the Pooh type pins, as well as the Stitch Lanyard w/ pin, and Stitch with Ducklings. That is too cute. I just could not get in on time to get the Malificent or Chip & Dale.

I'm very happy with what I got. Gotta be careful to keep some $$ for cruise pins!

I was able to get the Aurora cameo, but I missed out on Maleficent.....that was the one I really wanted.

Where do you go for these auction pins? Are there certain times that pins are the only items up for auction?

It is a new type of auction from Disney using ebay's buy it now feature; you buy the pins outright rather than bidding on them. Here is the link to the auction site

They started yesterday morning releasing LE 250 & 500 pins in batches of 5's and 10's. LOTS of people stayed up all night just refreshing their screens to get a chance at one of the more popular pins (Belle, Maleficent, Tink). Good Luck in this our latest obsession

I just got the Shy Mickey. I saw it at the event and loved it. thanks for reminding me to check out the auctions.
Now I have to wait for the other Mickey that I liked to be released. It is the same size and shape as the Shy Mickey but he is posing differently. Peggie

Mickey527.....a question for you. I hope this isn't dumb but, the pin you're referring to "Shy Mickey" is a LE of 250, according to the Disney auction site. Does that mean that they are selling what's left of the 250 that weren't purchased at the event? Or have they made an additional amount and this is the same pin, now with more of an edition number? Does this make sense? I guess I'm wondering if Disney is cleaning house or adding to already posted editions which would make the pin less desirable....Thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me, I'm a little dense and sometimes cynical.

The shy Mickey was not an event pin. It was on display at the Auction booth along with quite a few other auction pins. Kind of like a teaser to all of us, showing us the pins that we could bid on.
It is a larger rectangular pin, about 2 inches wide and 3 inches tall.
They are releasing some of them as a set and others as a broken set, sold singly. I am cutting back to only Mickey now so that is the only one I wanted and I got it YEAH! Peggie

Today's Block Tink was VERY hard to get -- even with internet cable.

Due to a very slow computer, I was not able to get any of the Tinks, but I did get some other pins in case other people need them.
