Any (legit) way to buy discounted 1 day PH tickets?

Hello all,

DH and I will be in Orlando next month for a wedding, and have been planning on a multi-park day. We're Disney veterans, and as I know we won't be visiting again for a while, I was super excited for a day trip! I casually mentioned to DH that I would buy the tickets to celebrate my birthday this month, and just went to check out prices - my jaw hit the floor. I was fully aware the price-increase was coming, and expected the $6 hike in MK prices, but it looks like a $30 (ish?) price increase for the park hopper. At any rate, two, one-day PH tickets will cost us $330. There's no way I can justify paying that (especially when I was such an idiot - I should have done more research and bought them last month!) Does anyone know of any (legitimate and honorable, obviously) way of getting discounted one-day park tickets?

I also want to add that I'm not at all mad at Disney for raising the prices, but I'm just heartbroken, and SO mad at myself for dropping the ball!

Not unless you want to sit through a looooong timeshare presentation...

If your employer is eligable you may be ablr to get a deal through WorkingAdvantage.com

USSSA has been the only one I've ever seen offer a discount on one-day tickets, but it looks like you have to be participating in a youth sports event to purchase them now.

I thought sometimes under cover tourist will sell what they have left in stock at the old price. Have you checked there? Not a discount but may help if they have any left.

Just checked.
Nope.

Most of the resellers online actually sell the 1 day tickets at a markup over gate price. They just don't do enough volume to keep them on hand, and Disney doesn't offer then (I don't think) the ability to buy them at a discount. So in order to cover their overhead, it costs more than through WDW direct.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! DH and I ended up finding some discounted tix through our jobs. This experience will definitely teach me to be more proactive about buying my tickets on time!
