Any Jamaica tips?

We went to Couples Tower Isle in Ocho Rios last August and loved it so much we are going back in July!

My sister has been to AI resorts in Jamaica twice. Both times, they were strongly encouraged not to leave the resort.

My husband and I, and another couple went to Ocho Rios last September. It was a planned and winged pretty quickly, as we weren't planning on going there until we found a great deal ($699 pp, 8 days, all inclusive, including roundtrip flights). We couldn't pass it up! The drive from the airport to Ocho was long, but our driver was CRAZY. Going about 85-90 miles per hour, flying around curves, etc. I was happy we made it to the hotel alive! But once we got there, we had a blast. You will be offered drugs, EVERYWHERE! Even our drivers were offering. We went to Dunn river falls, swimming with the dolphins, and ziplining through the rain forest. Had a blast with all of them! If you do Dunn River falls, be sure to take the party boat there (if you're into that). It was a BLAST. We did walk to the local flea market. Never again. Everything we need is at the resort. You will be hounded at the flea market. I didn't even stop to look at anything, because of all the pressure.

We werent impressed with Dunns River Falls. Its a huge tourist trap. The Secret Falls are definetly better, IMHO

I totally agree. Secret Falls, aka The Blue Hole, is so much fun and it's so beautiful. We went there on our last cruise. I set it up ahead of time with a guy named Ricardo Riley. I found him on Cruise Critic and Trip Advisor.

We have stayed at Couples Tower Isle once and Couples Sans Souci twice. We are returning to Couples Sans Souci again next week. We LOVE both resorts, but really like how CSS is built into and on top of a cliff. Both resorts are gorgeous. I agree that Dunns River Falls is nearly a must-do, even if you do not climb the falls in the water. You can walk up the side of the falls all the way to the top, and it is beautiful!
