Any issues crossing out and changing resort on ME tags?

We switched to OKW from VWL (decided on a 1 BR instead of a studio!). We are leaving next week so we already have our magical express tags and they say VWL of course. I've been instructed to just cross out the resort name and put in OKW.

I assume we'll get our luggage with no problems? We are arriving late (1030 pm) so we will bring sleep clothes/toiletries/etc but we'd really need our luggage by the following morning.

I know this must happen quite a bit -- just wondering if anyone has had any issues in getting their luggage with this situation?

Latest I was told is that it is perfectly OK to strike out the resort name or your name to make corrections --- but leave the bar code alone.

Tyler has instructed us to do exactly as seashoreCM instructed you.

The barcode gives access to your reservation information in the database. Since your reservation information is up-to-date, your bags will be routed to OKW. It's a smart idea to cross out the incorrect text just in case the luggage is resort-sorted by hand (rather than relying on a bar code scan) OR to prevent a well-meaning person from taking the initiative to remove your bags from the OKW sorting area and manually bring them to what they think is the correct area, for VWL.

Thanks for the input. I assumed this was okay, I was just checking for experiences from anyone that had actually done this.
