Any iPhone Deals?

My phone has died - it might be the battery (it only stays charged long enough for me to make 1 very short phone call) in which case I'll just replace that if I can find one, but I think the problem is really where the charger plugs in because it is very wiggly. (I'm taking it to the store I got it at to have them look at it tomorrow.) I've made up my mind that if I'm going to get a new phone I'm going to get an iPhone. I can hold out for a week to hit Black Friday sales if there's a special as I have a car charger, but I don't want to go too long because I start a new job in Boston soon and I need to keep my phone with me in case my kids need to call me. I know the standard pricing that's out there but sometimes someone will something else like a case or car charger with a contract. I'm going to look thru the fliers but there are a lot to look through. Has anyone seen any deals for an iphone - either Black Friday or current?

There are no deals nor will there be under the way the carriers sell the phone. It's already a deal since the phone price is subsidizes by the carrier, in the tune of a $450 discount.

I sprung for the iphone two weeks ago on Sprint because I wanted the unlimited internet service and I get a discount through Sprint. It is the new iphone 4S and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!

I have never had a smart phone before.

You won't get a deal on the phone itself, but in the past, Apple (and possibly other retails) have offered a gift with purchase. However, this year, since the phone came out so late, I doubt they'll be offering any incentives.

Yeah, I'd seen these in the past and this is pretty much what I was hoping for. I know that with Apple the prices are pretty much standard everywhere, but a free gift with purchase certainly wouldn't hurt. Because money is tight I'll probably go with the 3S.

DH, DS & I have a family plan thru AT&T which is costing me $120/mo for the three phones with unlimited texting between the phones and DS has an iphone 3S. We still have a contract on DS' phone but my contract is up so I'll have to look and see what sprint & verizon are offering because a better deal is always a better deal.

There is still a demand backlog for the 4S, according to the Wall Street Journal. Carriers report waits of up to 3 weeks and Apple online has a 1-2 week wait. If you decide on a 4S and live near an Apple store, you can log in at 9 pm and reserve one of the ones they have in stock to pick up the next day. I was lucky when I did that late last month to get exactly what I wanted on the day I wanted it, but I know other have not been as lucky. I also love my iPhone 4S. -- Suzanne

It's in the Walmart kiosk so I'm not really sure. They offer At&T and Verizion. I only saw it as DD(10) said look I want that and it's ONLY 97 cents. I will check on the details tomorrow when I am there.

It's on the app (tgi black Friday) that I have. It lists all the stores and deals. The same info is on blackfriday.info. Go to website, click on walmart and look under cellphones

The iPhone 3Gs is only available on AT&T, not Verizon or Sprint. It is the one that is free at the Apple Store, but $0.99 at AT&T stores (AT&T JUST increased it from free yesterday - No idea why)

The iPhone 4 is an 8GB model and sells for $99 at AT&T, Verizon, & Sprint, as well as the Apple Store

The iPhone 4s is 16GB/32GB/64GB for $199/$299/$399 as AT&T, Verizon, & Sprint, as well as the Apple Store. - This is the latest model, the one with the Siri voice assistant that you may have seen commercials for, better camera, etc. Like a previous poster said, if you want this one, you will have to go online on apple.com the night before starting at 9PM for next day pick up.
