We haven't been there (we're going next March), but it gets nice reviews and has the reputation of being fairly easy to land as a trade. The down side of this resort is that you must walk across a golf course to get to the beach. On the other hand, most people go to the big island for volcanoes and ranches rather than beaches, anyway.
We had no trouble finding a 1-bedroom trade to Kona Coast for spring vacation (144 points), starting 15 months out and scoring at about 11 months out.
