We've done it twice in the past, and we had some fun with it. We did it in October, but I was having computer issues at home & was really busy at work. But--the home issues are resolved (it's amazing what a cable modem can do!) and I think I'd like to host this one now.

It'd be a $10 or $15 minimum for breakfast items--pancake/waffle mixes, muffin mixes, etc. I've even thrown in items you might use when cooking breakfast & I've even included some recipes.

So let me know if you have any interest. If there is, I'll start the sign-ups after President's Day.

I think I'd be all for this! I LOVE breakfast!

I would be interested. It was a fun exchange. Hmmm now when is Presidents Day?

We would LOVE to do this one!! I LOVE BREAKFAST!!! popcorn::

Although I do not do much breakfast cooking because I am always in a hurry to get to school and stuff....

But now, maybe i will have an excuse...:rolleyes1

I normally would. But I just found out I am diabetic. :headache: And I would hate for someone to second guess what to mail me. Or not be able to eat what was sent.

Oh no! I know King Arthur Flour has gluten free and other dietary options.. but I'm not educated on diabetic nutrition.. perhaps someone here is?

Hey, Barbara.....need help??
Breakfast is hard. Low carb, high fiber is the key.

Yeah -- being the newbie I kinda know the drill, but not really...
I go to an all day class. However that is not for a few weeks from now.

Normally I am not a big breakfast eater anyway. I always said I could drink my breakfast and be perfectly happy. (Healthy beverage, juice, milk, etc.)

So for now I bought some of that dietary drink stuff. Basically premixed instant breakfast in a bottle, but for diabetics. I have that, and some fruit or yogurt later.

At least I have that until I figure out the best thing for week (work) days.

Just cutting out all the junk food I am sure is a major improvement. And I use to drink a lot of fruit juice because I am usually lazy about eating fruits and veggies, and I cut way back on soda. Of course juice is full of sugar too.
But now I basically have fruit flavored water when I do have some juice. (A shot of juice, with my water.)

The only thing I will miss is the box of Praline Bread Pudding I bought a few weeks ago at World Market that is in my pantry! :rotfl:Gotta take some junk like that into work to give away.

I hope I do not have to go gluten free. :sad2: I have a friend who has to due to celiac (sp?). ugh. I can cut way back on bread. But please not gluten free!

Sorry to have gotten OT!!

Oh no :( I am so sorry!

Barbara, I'm sure it will go OK--I think attitude is half the battle, and it sounds like you are on the right track! We will miss you in this exchange, but your health comes first.

Well, it is looking like this will happen! Let's say sign-ups will start next Monday, Feb. 21st. I'm going out of town next weekend, but I'll be home on Monday to get things started.
