We just were at WDW, and drove past this place on the way to and from the airport. Anyone stay there? I looks like (via website) a great place, and my dh wants to stay non Disney next trip.

We are planning next Spring Break already, Florida is calling us back! We will be doing Discovery Cove, Sea World, Epcot, NASA, Cocoa Beach and maybe Universal.

Thanks for any input or advice.

I have stayed there three nights on business. It was very comfortable and a beautiful hotel. I can't comment on the pools, although they looked great, I never got a chance to go in them. I think you would like it there. The only con is that it doesn't have a kitchette. When I go to FLA I like to have at least that. But that is just my preference.

Stayed there on business several years ago. Nice hotel - very large - with a great pool. Some people are bothered by conventioneers walking around, it doesn't affect me at all and they don't tend to take up room at the pool as they're in their meetings all day.

Nice hotel, nice pool. HORRID parking. They charge something like $10 a day and it's so far away you have to take a shuttle. YUCK!

I agree with Carol - the parking here was probably the only real negative I can say about this place.

We stayed here a few years ago and the pools are fantastic. The hotel most definitely has a business feel though, and it's very spread out, however because of the size of the hotel, they can offer a lot of amenities. The health club was really nice and I believe they have a Japanese steak house on site.

I have found that I like to stay in WDW on site or at a vacation home so I don't think i'll be back, but I would recommend it because it was a nice place.

We got this room via Priceline for about $90 a night but that was in 2005.

We LOVED it! There were quite a few pools, even tried the indoor pool. Great restaurants and the "food court" area was ok too. We had a car and after the first night of trekking to the parking garage we found other places that guests can park in BEHIND the resort. Not at all obvious ! Think there is a Golf Resort back there and there is hotel lot (need room key to get in/out of it but it was not the garage. Then we walked in the side door and wound our way in by the food court. It was so much easier !!
They also have games and activities for kids, pool volleyball, waterslide, a pool table and other things too. It is beautiful too! Enjoy it !
