Any input on Caribe Royale?

I found what seem to be pretty good rates for a stay in early March 2009 at Caribe Royale. A one-bedroom suite for $119 per night. On the map on their site, they look close to the parks and the property and rooms appear really nice.

I'm new to this site and tried to look through the posts for more info, but didn't see much within the first 10 pages of posts, so I'm sorry if this question's been asked a million times.

I'm just wondering if anyone has stayed there recently and has any feedback? I atayed at a Country Inn & Suites near the parks 2 years ago and am looking for something of more of a full-service resort (and one that has comfortable beds). Any advise would be most appreciated.

My family stayed there a few years ago. We were in a villa type thing. It was VERY nice, and VERY beautiful! In fact, I'd love to stay there again sometime. I think you'd be impressed :)

Sounds good. Were the suites fairly good-sized and was it any easy commute into the parks?

I just checked out their website. We were in the 2-bedroom villa, but we had friends who stayed in the suites. They were more than happy there. It wasn't a bad commute at all, but we only went to the parks for a couple days. Most of our time was spent at the WWoS for a tournament. I highly recommend it, and if I ever stayed off property, it would be there!

Great, thanks again. I appreciate your feedback. Looks like that will be the place for us then. I just can't wait to get back to WDW!!
