I read something about an American Express Lounge at the Universal Studio Orlando? Wonder has anybody been there?

If I bought my tickets through the Undercover Tourist with my american express card. Will I be able to utilize the lounge? It sounds like a good place to take a break in the park.

Any feedback will be appreciated, thanks.

Just show them your Amex card and your tickets. The lounge is open every day from 12-5 and it is at Universal Studios across the Shrek Ye Olde Souvenir Shoppe.

I've used it before. I bought my annual pass with my AMEX so I showed them the pass and the card and they let me and my GF in. It's not bad, they give you bottled water, some chips, and a comfy place to sit and rest with a/c (back in the summer). Not a bad spot to rest after hitting the Rip Rocket coaster a few times.

I was wondering about the AmEx lounge as well...if it's worth making a stop there throughout the day? Is it pretty packed? Do they offer sodas as well as water?

The Univeral website says you have to buy your park tickets with the AmEx but it sounds like you just have to show your tickets and your AmEX card to get in?

When I went, the only drink they had was water. I would have liked other options, but I'm guessing that they stick with just water to not pull down their concession stands sales. It wasn't packed when I went, but it wasn't that easy to find either as it doesn't stand out. I would say that if you're needing a break with a quickie drink and am around that area (it's kinda close to rip rocket), it's worth stopping by rather than paying for a drink. I don't think it will be worth hitting up multiple times throughout the day though. If you do try, I would recommend having your AMEX card with you just to cover your bases.
