1st grade teacher here...
Our 100th Day is next Friday.
My class has the same assignment to bring in 100 items, but they cannot just bring 100 items in a bag. Each child has to think up a way to "display" the items.
For examples, I always tell the kids the simple ones...
100 Legos to make a tall building
100 popsicle sticks to make a house
100 Fruit Loops on a string to make a necklace
Those are simple, but you should see some of the really creative ones.
Awesome. One time, a parent & child took 100 toilet paper tubes & painted them orange. They then assembled them to look like a giant tiger (our school's mascot).
