Any idea when Southwest & AirTran will open for April?

I'm trying to get from Boston (or Providence) to Orlando during April school vacation week. Right now non-stop flights are going for $800 from Delta, JetBlue, etc. Insanity. I figure my best (and only) chance is to get up at 4 or 5 am on the day SW and AT release fares and book right away. But how can I find out when that date will be?

As far as I know, Airtran will be history in December.

Yes, next April it will simply be Southwest.

Southwest's next announced release will be August 4th for dates through March 6th.

AirTran's last flight is December 28th.

Wow, this is the third time they have delayed the date. A few weeks ago it was 7/21. Does anyone know if they will extend the dates later in March?

I'm watching too. I need to book flights for mid March. So I guess if it's up to March 6th at the beginning of August then the next block will be approx. late September. That one should cover April too.
