Any idea when rooms open up for January reservations?

My DH is running the marathon in January. I'm trying to get an idea about rooms (cost) and I checked a few travel sites and disneyworld.com, but no one has January opened up yet. I hate to call CRO and hear what rack rate would be.

I think the discounts would come out around October or so for January, right?

I already have 3 rooms reserved in January, but not for the marathon. I would go ahead and book now if I were you. You can always call back and adjust accordingly. I'll be watching for AP rates as time draws near.

What resort are you staying at? If you book now, they will quote you a 2003 Rack rate for Regular season. When the new rates come out (2003 rates came out first week in June 2002), your rate will be adjusted (lowered) to the Value season rate. To give you an idea, here is a link to rates for this year, I know the Moderate rates were actually lowered from 2002 to 2003. ~~

Thanks. I guess since I was trying to book them on line through disneyworld.com, that's why I couldn't see any open for January. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and call CRO.
